17 New Images From Pixar’s UP
Disney/Pixar has released 17 new images for their upcoming animated “Up” film.
“Up”, from the Disney Pixar studios, tells the story of 78 year-old Carl Fredricksen who sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America by tying thousands of balloons to his home. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn’t alone on his journey, since Russell, a young wilderness explorer, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.
New Pictures From “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”
Thanks to dvd-forum.at, we now have four new pictures from Terry Gilliam‘s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.” Three of the pics are the film’s stills, and each captures Heath Ledger as Tony, Lily Cole as Parnassus’ daughter Valentina and Christopher Plummer as the very own Doctor Parnassus.

Synopsis: When 9 (Elijah Wood) first comes to life, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world. All humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Despite being the neophyte of the group, 9 convinces the others that hiding will do them no good. They must take the offensive if they are to survive, and they must discover why the machines want to destroy them in the first place. As they’ll soon come to learn, the very future of civilization may depend on them.

Walt Disney Pictures has debuted the second “Upisode” for Pixar‘s film “Up” showing Russell trying to apply a Band-Aid to Carl Fredricksen’s scraped knuckle. This clip are content created purely for promotional purposes and are not scenes from the movie itself.

New Pixar’s “Up” Poster and Clip
Yahoo! Movies has debuted the new poster for the upcoming Pixar film, “Up,” and a clip from the film that was shown at Sony’s CES Keynote last week has been leaked online.
The 3-D animated flick follows the crazy adventures of 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen, who sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America by tying thousands of balloons to his home. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn’t alone on his journey, since Russell, a young wilderness explorer, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.
The film is directed by Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc.) and co-directed and written by Bob Peterson (Finding Nemo). The voices are provided by Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, John Ratzenberger and Jordan Nagai.
