This news has been rumored about for the past few months. So, Brett Ratner has indeed been tapped to direct “Conan” for Lionsgate from the script by Howard McCain and Dirk Blackman.

After the first teaser poster for upcoming Lionsgate’s barbarian epic “Conan,” we’ve got today new one.
Dirk Blackman and Howard McCain (Outlander) have been hired to redraft the script, the updated remake of sorts of 1982′s Conan The Barbarian.
