Two New CONTAGION TV Spots Online
Warner Bros. has released two brand new TV spots for Steven Soderbergh‘s viral spreading death thriller Contagion. The film stars Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet.
“Contagion” follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.
Six Character Posters from CONTAGION

2011 Venice Film Festival Line Up
The line up for the 2011 Venice Film Festival has been revealed.
Until now we knew that George Clooney‘s The Ides of March will open the fest and it will be in competition section. Whit Stillman‘s film Damsels In Distress will be the closing film, although out of comptition.
And today, we’ve got the full list of films which will be shown during this year’s Venice Film Festival. It seems this year is English language film year.
The U.S. offers Todd Solondz‘s Dark Horse, starring Christopher Walken and Mia Farrow, Texas Killing Fields, Ami Canaan Mann‘s (Michael Mann’s daughter) movie which stars Sam Worthington and Chloe Moretz and Abel Ferrera‘s apocalyptic 4:44 Last Day On Earth – movies in competition.
David Cronenberg (Canada) will debut his psychological drama A Dangerous Method, which stars Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley and Viggo Mortensen.

Yes, we had a little chat about the upcoming Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion, so you know that all-star cast is already involved in the whole thing: Laurence Fishburne, Matt Damon, Jude Law, Marion Cotillard, Kate Winslet and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Today, we’re here to add another name to this list, because lovely Sanaa Lathan will join above mentioned cast as Laurence Fishburne’s wife!
The action-thriller takes place over four continents and centers on a deadly virus that threatens the human population, with groups from around the world working together to contain the epidemic.
Laurence Fishburne To Star In Soderbergh’s Contagion
Laurence Fishburne (21, Armored, Tortured, CSI: Miami; NY, Las Vegas, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible III) is in talks to join Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow in Steven Soderbergh‘s deadly virus thriller Contagion.
If his schedule works out, Fishburne will be taking on a “major role.” His role is said to be as big as all of the other actors.
No specific plot details, but the action-thriller takes place over four continents and centers on a terrifying deadly virus outbreak.
