In Scream 4, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately, Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Dimension Films has released the teaser trailer and four posters for Scream 4.

Unfortunately, Sidney’s reappearance also instigates more Ghostface killings and puts Jill’s high school friends in danger.
Courteney Cox Has Signed On For “Scream 4″
Courteney Cox (Cougar Town, Friends) is excited about her return to the “Scream 4.”
Speaking to The Associated Press, Cox suggested that her character Gale Weathers and partner Deputy Dewey would probably still be living in the town where the original murders took place.
“They’re probably back living in Woodsboro,” Cox said referring to the small California town that was the setting of the first film. “I think that he’s probably still deputy, and I’ve had a lot of kids. I don’t know. I’m probably miserable, and then I’m sure a lot of murdering will happen.”
