Universal Pictures has released the first TV spot for Cowboys & Aliens.

The film, based on Scott Mitchell Rosenberg‘ graphic novel created in 2006, is about a lone cowboy (Jake Lonergan played by Daniel Craig) who must collaborate with his former adversaries; the native indians to lead an uprising againest an extraterrestrial invasion. However Jake has a mysterious shackle around one wrist that makes him unwelcome in a desert town who need him to bring them to salvation.

The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn

After two new posters premiered yesterday, Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.

The film is the first in a new series of 3D motion capture film based on the iconic character created by Georges Remi, better known to the world by his pen name “Herge” and follows Tintin and his friends as they discover directions to a sunken ship commanded by Capt. Haddock’s ancestor and go off on a treasure hunt.

Universal Pictures has unveiled the second trailer for Jon Favreau’s hugely anticipated sci-fi western Cowboys & Aliens.

Synopsis: 1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger (Daniel Craig) with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don’t welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford). It’s a town that lives in fear. But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known.

James Bond Series Secured by Sony Pictures

Now comes good news for British secret operative fans — Sony Pictures have announced today that they will help MGM co-finance the next Bond film, plus a number of motion pictures in the next five years! They will also have Bond 24 to follow.

According to previous notes Daniel Craig and Judi Dench return in their roles, while Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes are both rumored to team. Shooting starts this autumn for a November 9th, 2012 release.

The former ER star, Goran Visnjic, has signed up for the upcoming David Fincher‘s adaptation of Stieg Larsson best-seller that we already wrote so much about.

You can check out our previous reports about the whole thing, and more details on Visnjic’s role in the rest of this one.

At this moment we know that Visnjic, Croatian-born actor, will play Dragan Armansky, the chief executive of a security firm that employs the story’s heroine Lisbeth Salander, and according to the latest reports, Visnjic has signed on for the whole trilogy!
