The upcoming film is the second movie in a planned trilogy. Danny Trejo will return to reprise his role as the deadly blade-wielding Mexican ex-Federale.

This time around Kumar manages to burn down Harold’s father-in-law’s Christmas tree, during their mission to find the perfect Christmas tree.

New Line Cinema has unleashed these eight new character posters, via Yahoo, for the upcoming sequel A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, which gives us a glimpse at some of the new characters we’ll see in the holiday comedy. John Cho, Kal Penn, Paula Garcés, Danneel Harris, Tom Lennon, Danny Trejo, Elias Koteas, Eddie Kaye Thomas, David Krumholtz, Patton Oswalt and Neil Patrick Harris all star in the film which will be released in 2D and 3D theaters nationwide on November 4th, 2011.

This may sound a little bit… I don’t know, weird maybe, but it’s true. Machette star Danny Trejo will actually appear in the upcoming Syfy original movie entitled Haunted High.
Yeah, I know, it’s pretty weird when you have a tough guy involved in something like this, but, what the hell, he’s not the only one! M.C. Gainey, Charisma Carpenter, Marc Donato and Jonathan Baron are in the same shit as well…
So, Haunted High will be directed by Jeffrey Lando, man who was in charge for SyFy’s House of Bones, too.
So, I guess he has all weird experience in the world to make this little more painful.

The first theatrical trailer from the third Harold & Kumar movie “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas” has finally arrived! The film will feature our stoner heroes having to replace a Christmas tree after the one belonging to Harold’s family “goes up in smoke.”
