Dark Shadows

A new banner for Johnny Depp and Tim Burton’s upcoming Dark Shadows, featuring the tagline “Every Family Has Its Demons,” has appeared online.

The highly stylized Pop Art banner showcase some of  the main characters: Depp as the flamboyant vampire Barnabas Collins, Michelle Pfeiffer as his long lost love Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, Helena Bonham Carter as Dr. Julia Hoffman,  Eva Green as the evil witch Angelique Bouchard, and Chloe Moretz as Carolyn Stoddard.

Okay, here’s the 60 sec Dark Shadows’ TV Spot that aired during AMC’s ‘Mad Men’ Season 5 premiere. You ain’t gonna see things like ‘what all Johnny and Eva do,’ but like the Dark Shadows’ previous spots, it ramps up the ‘70s motifs and pin points Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins, an old vampire who’s unfamiliar with the 1972-set world.

Warner Bros. has released nine character posters for Tim Burton’s latest film Dark Shadows starring Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Chloe Grace Moretz, Gulliver McGrath, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Bella Heathcote and Jonny Lee Miller.

The movie is based on the 1966-71 soap opera of the same name. The show had a huge cult following, but it  was not made to be a comedy, so fans of the original may be a bit thrown off.
