Turbo is an upcoming DreamWorks Animation’s project that will be directed by David Soren, and according to the latest reports, Ryan Reynolds is in final negotiations to voice the lead role.

Ian McShane Joins Jack the Giant Killer
Jack the Giant Killer update! No, it’s not delaying again, don’t worry, we’re here for a little casting update!
Ian McShane, who will next be seen as Blackbeard in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, has joined the cast of the upcoming Bryan Singer‘s movie that already stars Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy and John Kassir.
As we previously reported, Jack the Giant Killer will follow “a young farmer Jack, the hero who must lead a dangerous expedition to the kingdom of giants in hope of rescuing a princess.”
I’m sure you all know that Nicholas Hoult stars as the lead Jack, with Eleanor Tomlinson who portrays the princess. Now we know that McShane will play her father – King Brahnwell.
Nicholas Hoult is Jack in Bryan Singer’s Jack the Giant Killer
Nicholas Hoult is in negotiations to play the lead role in Bryan Singer‘s upcoming Jack the Giant Killer.
We already knew that Singer has been searching for a young actor to star in his fantasy epic for a while, and now, Hoult is in negotiations to take on the role of a young farmer who leads a party into the land of the giants in order to rescue a princess.
The script is written by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects), Mark Bomback (Live Free or Die Hard) and Darren Lemke (Shrek Forever After) and, according to Deadline, Jack the Giant Killer is:
Bryan Singer Directing Jack The Giant Killer
According to HeatVision Blog, Bryan Singer (Superman Returns, Valkyrie) has signed on to direct “Jack the Giant Killer,” the fantasy adventure from Legendary Pictures and New Line.
Penned by Mark Bomback (Deception, Live Free or Die Hard) and Darren Lemke (Lost (2004)) while Neal Moritz is producing via his Original Film banner. David Dobkin will co-produce alongside Legendary’s Jon Jashni and Alex Garcia.
