Mitch Hurtwitz, who has done the short-lived sitcom, has revealed that he wants to set for the Arrested Development movie in theaters by the end of this year.
He is now working on a script with Jim Valley that will reboot the Bluth family for the big screen. Hurwitz said:
We’ve started that process and it is our sincere hope to shoot it this year and get it out this year. That’s what we’re hoping, but a lot of things have to fall into place for that to happen.”
Asked about the storyline for the ‘Arrested’ movie, Hurwitz refrained to speak, to abstain from the fact that they might not have the whole thing worked out.
From the time when its third season termination in 2006, that made comedy fans blood boiled, a movie remake of the cult classic TV show Arrested Development has been the Agnus Dei for loyal funs, its on-again. Word has come that creator Mitch Hurwitz is hard working on the script and that the film will be made. The Bluths are coming back.
