The new planned film by David Gordon Green will primarily cohering around a basic premise that anonymous narrator who is engaged to the love of his life is visited by his future self, who says the marriage is a mistake that will ruin them both.

If you picked up Q, latest novel from Evan Mandery you would realize that Green is set to write and direct the adaptation of the same book. If all goes well and the deal goes as planned, Columbia Pictures will acquire the rights for DGG to helm an unconventional love story, which title refers to the love of unnamed hero’s life based on her real name – Quentina Elizabeth Deveril.

David Gordon Green has Finished a Script for Warner Bros. – Remake of Ice Station Zebra

In a recent interview David Gordon Green talked about a few other movies he’s been running on; he wrote the screenplay for one of them, a remake of the 1968 Ice Station Zebra.

The original big military movie was directed by John Sturges and starred Rock Hudson. Well, here’s what DGG had to say about it:

I just finished a script for Warner Bros. that’s a remake of ‘Ice Station Zebra’ that’s a big military movie. And I got to go camp out on the arctic circle with the Navy and explore those kind of… you know just the lingo and the politics of what’s going on in the arctic right now so it truly is a passport. Like literally Warner Brothers says, ‘Do you want to get on a jet with the Navy and get on a submarine?’ and you’re like, ‘absofuckinglutely!’ ”

David Gordon Green long-rumored reboot of Suspiria looks like  will be the next on his feature-film horizon.

The tale of sorcery about a German dance academy is one of the most dreamlike horror films ever pictured, and simply the greatest achievement of a stylistic master, director Dario Argento. Based on essays from Thomas DeQuincey’s Suspiria de Profundiis, film deals with one of The Three Mothers — ancient and mighty witches who live in various residences around the world in order to expand evil, especially on a German ballet school. Of the two films which were made, this one is definitely better.

Universal Pictures have debuted three new character posters for medieval swords-and-sorcery stoner comedy Your Highness, starring Natalie Portman, James Franco, and Danny Mcbride.

Your Highness finds James Franco as Prince Fabious, destined to marry the beautiful and virginal Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel). But when she’s kidnapped by the evil sorcerer Leezar (Justin Theroux), he sets out on a quest to rescue his ladylove. And his lazy, arrogant brother Thadeous (Danny McBride) is sent along under orders from their father (Charles Dance). As they battle dangerous creatures and meet pot-loving beasts, they also cross paths with the warrior woman Isabel (Natalie Portman).
