And you actually thought that Riddick 3 is off? Silly! From time to time we all get in financial problems, but we’re still alive.
So as David Twohy’s Riddick project which will resume filming on December 28th.

Well, this is an exclusive news. As usual with Riddick, I guess.
This time we’re here to inform you about offers for non-major roles or maybe better supporting roles? Oh, what the hell, this cast are definitely worth our attention!
Andreas Apergis (Durham County), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Bokeem Woodbine (The Rock) and WWE wrestler Dave Bautista (The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption) have been offered roles in the upcoming film!
As you already know, David Twohy is directing the whole thing, while Vin Diesel and Karl Urban are set to reprise their roles.
Unfortunately, at this moment Riddick 3 is still without a release date, and the production has been shut down due to money problems.

And this time, it’s upcoming indeed, because we finally learned that the whole thing starts principal photography in a few weeks.

I know you’re totally interested in the upcoming David Twohy‘s Riddick, so here we are for a little update.
Ok, you already know that it could film this summer (as Vin Diesel explained a week ago), you already know the synopsis part, but it’s always the good thing to hear what the man behind this project has to say about the whole thing, right?

Riddick 3 Plot Synopsis Revealed
The highly-anticipated Riddick 3, simply called Riddick or maybe The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking, now has an official plot synopsis.
Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Vin Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.

Diesel has just revealed on his Facebook profile page early Riddick 3 concept art. Actually, it’s the first frame of a 2D Motion Choreography Study called The Furian… Left For Dead…
Riddick 3 Confirmed for Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel and director/franchise creator David Twohy have signed on for another movie in the Riddick series, according to Variety.
Diesel is to reprise his role of the eponymous Furyan convict with shining eyes that can see in the dark. The film will be entitled simply Riddick.
Plot details are being kept under wraps. But insiders say the third outing will hew closer in tone to the cult hit “Pitch Black” and will focus on the character of Riddick as opposed to the universe he inhabits
“The Chronicles of Riddick” Sequel Begins Scouting in New Zealand
According to Vin Diesel’s Facebook page, the third Chronicles of Riddick film is about to get underway.
The “Chronicles of Riddick 3″ is currently in pre-production and has already begun scouting locations in New Zealand.
