Bunraku Trailer
Below you can checkout a cool new trailer for the upcoming Bunraku, a stylish action movie set in some alternate universe with a lot of “Sin City”-esque green screen work and silly character names like ‘The Drifter’, ‘Thug 1′, ‘Killer 2′.
Synopsis: A mysterious drifter (Josh Hartnett) and an ardent young Japanese warrior Yoshi (Gackt) both arrive in a town that is terrorized by outrageous and virulent criminals. Each is obsessed with his separate mission, and guided by the wisdom of The Bartender (Woody Harrelson) at the Horseless Horseman Saloon, the two eventually join forces to bring down the corrupt and contemptuous reign of Nicola (Ron Perlman), the awesomely evil “woodcutter” and his lady Alexandra (Demi Moore), a femme fatale with a secret past.
First Photos for Bunraku Starring Woody Harrelson & Demi Moore
Today we have the first photos from the upcoming Bunraku movie, featuring an eclectic cast including Josh Hartnett, Woody Harrelson, Demi Moore, Kevin McKidd and Ron Perlman.
Set in a world with no guns, Bunraku follows a mysterious drifter, a young samurai and a bartender who plot revenge against a ruthless leader and his army of thugs, headed by nine diverse and deadly assassins. It is said as a visually stunning and adrenaline pumping blend of flavours old and new, east and west.
Jeremy Irons Joins Margin Call
This is something that we could already call just another “financial drama.”
But, when we have some great cast involved in the upcoming J.C. Chandor‘s project titled Margin Call then we must add – financial drama that we’re actually very interested in!
Demi Moore, Simon Baker, Paul Bettany, Kevin Spacey, Stanley Tucci, Zachary Quinto all in one movie? And now Jeremy Irons has joined the cast as well? Well, not bad for some “economic-meltdown” drama at all!
Margin Call is a movie that “follows the main players during a big New York investment bank around the start of the 2008 financial crisis. During a 24-hour period, we watch the various company types interact and react to the startling situation.”
JC Chandor is directing from the script he wrote himself, and, just for a record, the movie has been shooting in New York for three weeks already!
That means that we already know the characters, so here they are: Jeremy Irons plays the chief exec of a financial firm, which likely makes him the top dog among the collection of “eight people at a prominent investment bank in a tumultuous 24-hour period during the early stages of the financial crisis.”
The Joneses Trailer and Posters
Check out the trailer and two posters for the upcoming comedy-drama movie The Joneses.
Director Derrick Borte begins the film by showing us ourselves – or at least who we often aspire to be. We meet Steve Jones (David Duchovny), his wife, Kate (Demi Moore), and their children Jenn (Amber Heard) and Mick (Ben Hollingsworth) as they move into their monster home in an affluent suburb of a city somewhere in America. Friendly, confident and very good-looking, they are also loaded with the coolest, newest stuff.
