Joel Edgerton Locs, Jessica Chastain in Talks for Bin Laden Film
While the Republicans are calling for an investigation into whether the Obama administration granted Sony Pictures high-level access for a film on the mission that killed Osama bin Laden, The Warrior thesp Joel Edgerton has officially signed on to star in the pic.
His name has been attached back in May, but the script was unfinished and it appeared that Edgerton’s schedule would clash with shooting and he had been replaced by Aussie thesp Jason Clarke in the lead role. But Edgerton passed on the 300 prequel and joins Clarke as the only official cast member.
First WRATH OF THE TITANS Trailer and Posters
For all of us who still think Clash Of The Titans was a disaster here’s a new fresh trailer for the upcoming sequel – Wrath of the Titans which definitely looks promising.
As far as I’m concerned, this great poster and several pieces of promotional artwork are enough for me to even write about the whole thing, but I’m sure you’re here to see the 2-minute fun, so let’s start!
First of all, a lot of action. Or should I say – a lot of 3D action?
Edgar Ramirez as Villain in STAR TREK 2?
If Benicio Del Toro won’t do it, I know who will! Actually, I know who the frontrunner to play the villain in the upcoming Star Trek 2 is!
Looks that now Edgar Ramirez, Carlos star is in some serious talks to play the iconic Khan, although J.J. Abrams still denies the rumors.
Say what you want but Ramirez definitely looks like an interesting choice for the role!
Sam Worthington in WRATH OF THE TITANS First Look
Sam Worthington, anybody misses this guy? I’m not among those two Worthington fans but I have an obligation to share first look at him as Perseus in the upcoming Wrath of the Titans movie.
As you already know, we’re talking about The Clash of the Titans sequel, so try not to get too excited about that “look”. It’s pretty much boring as usual.
Michael Shannon as a New Contender for Superman Villain
Michael Shannon is being eyed for a baddie (for General Zod?) in Superman: Man of Steel. Edgar Ramirez is being considered for the villain role as well.
Of course, details are thin on the ground. Previously, Henry Cavill was set as the Man of Steel, with Kevin Costner and Diane Lane attached to play his adoptive parents names on Earth.
Shannon, was long been known as an outstanding character actor who has worked mostly in independent production, but has emerged in several mainstream movies too. As you know Shannon gained an Oscar award for his role in Revolutionary Road and has recently been gathering additional accolades for his work on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. He also took part in Jonah Hex last year.
