A promo trailer for upcoming psychological thriller “Stone,” starring Robert De Niro, Milla Jovovich and Edward Norton has arrived online.
In this movie, Norton takes on the role of a ruthless convict who is desperately trying to gain parole. A convicted arsonist, he enlists the help of his beautiful wife, carried out by Jovovich, to manipulate his correction officer, portrayed by De Niro, and entrap the lawman in a series of deadly psychological games.
The film is directed by John Curran who previously directed Norton in “The Painted Veil.”
“Pride and Glory” 3 New Posters, Trailer and Review
“Pride and Glory” had its first screening at Toronto Film Festival even the police drama was shot before either “In Bruges” or “Cassandra’s Dream”.
The movie written by Gavin O’Connor and Joe Carnahan, tells the tale of a family whose lives revolve around the NYPD, starring Colin Farrell, Edward Norton, and Jon Voight.
The film follows a multi-generational police family whose moral code is tested when one of two sons on the force invesigates an incendiary case involving his older brother and brother-in-law.

The case forces the family to choose between their loyalties to one another and their loyalties to the department.
O’Conner is co-directing the film and told that the project is one he believes in. He stated:
‘My father was a New York City detective, and I grew up in that world. It’s a celebration of honest cops, which was everything my father was about. Though it is fictional, it is homage to my father.’
“Gavin O’Connor and his twin brother, producer Gregory, grew up as the sons of a New York City cop and developed this story together, along with Robert Hopes and co-scenarist Joe Carnahan. The sincerity and earnestness of their approach are as obvious as the plot mechanics, which hinge on the long-understood tendency of cops to close ranks and protect their own against outsiders, as well as on loyalty within a clan.

This featurette for ”The Incredible Hulk” shows the similarities between the film and the television show. Video includes an interview with Lou Ferrigno, the original Hulk (voice of The Incredible Hulk).

In the latest issue of Empire magazine, there are new shots from some of the upcoming comic book movies. One of those movies is “The Incredible Hulk“, which hasn’t given fans much to look at. While we still don’t get a shot of the green monster, there is a picture of Edward Norton as Bruce Banner and William Hurt as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

‘The Incredible Hulk’ – First Pictures
Universal Pictures have released the first two official pictures from this years ‘The Incredible Hulk’. The movie has an all star cast, which includes Edward Norton as Bruce Banner (The Hulk), Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, William Hurt as General Ross and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky (The Abomination).
The adaptation of the long running Marvel Comic is directed by Louis Leterrier (‘The Transporter’) and is due for UK release on the 13th of June.
Whilst the pictures don’t show either The Hulk or The Abomination (which will both be realized using CGI) they give us a glimpse at Norton’s version of Dr Banner.

‘Pride and Glory’ crime drama
’Pride and Glory’, written by Gavin O’Connor (Tumbleweeds) and Joe Carnahan (Narc), tells the tale of a family whose lives revolve around the NYPD.
‘Pride and Glory’ starring Colin Farrell, Edward Norton, and Jon Voight. Edward Norton will play a homicide detective assigned to investigate the precinct run by his older brother (Noah Emmerich). Farrell will star as the investigator’s best friend, an officer whose integrity is ambiguous.
O’Conner is co-directing the film and told Variety magazine that the project is one he believes in. He stated: ‘My father was a New York City detective, and I grew up in that world. ‘Pride and Glory’ is due to begin shooting in New York in January 2008.

Edward Norton replaced by Ben Affleck and Bred Pitt by Russell Crowe

Edward Norton has left Universal Picture’s ’State of Play’, and the studio in talks for Ben Affleck to replace him. Pitt was replaced by Russell Crowe.
Variety reports Norton’s exit was due to a schedule conflict which was the result of the film’s production start date being changed. The change was caused by Pitt’s departure and the studio’s scramble to get Crowe.
If he signs on for ’State of Play’, Affleck would step into the role of a fast-rising politician who finds himself wrapped up in a murder conspiracy. Crowe has signed to play the journalist investigating the killing who begins a romance with the politician’s wife.
The film is still set to star Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright Penn and Jason Bateman. It is being produced by Andrew Hauptman and Working Title partners Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.
Brad Pitt is in negotiations to join Sean Penn in the Terrence Malick flick ’Tree of Life’.
’Tree of Life’ was written by Malick who will also handle directing duties
Pitt (who was replaced by Russell Crowe on Universal Pictures’ ’State of Play’) is in talks to replace Heath Ledger on ’Tree of Life’ – which is set to start production in the spring. Penn will have a supporting role on the film.
