Here’s something interesting guys. Today we’re here to start a little chat about a new film which is about to hit theaters, titled The Mighty Macs. Movie opens on October 21st, so now is the perfect time for us to tell you that, if you pay a good attention, you can win some cool prizes including movie posters autographed by the film’s stars and a contest to win a trip to the movie’s premiere!
The Mighty Macks has an inspirational message that you would certainly enjoy. It’s based on the incredible true story of the 1971-72 Immaculata College team that started in obscurity but became the original Cinderella story in women’s basketball.
This team of pioneers went from barely making that inaugural tournament to the first dynasty in their game. And Cathy Rush, the woman that was ahead of her time, became immortalized when she was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The poster and trailer for the upcoming drama “The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond” have appeared online.
“The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond” is based on a recently rediscovered original screenplay by legendary writer Tennessee Williams (“A Streetcar Named Desire”, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”). Starring Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Evans, the Paladin release will open in New York and Los Angeles in late December, with expansion to major markets following in early 2010. Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn, Academy Award-nominee Ann-Margret, Mamie Gummer, and Will Patton co-star in the film which was directed by award-winning short filmmaker and stage and screen actress Jodie Markell, in her feature debut.

When it was revealed that Josh Brolin had been cast as George W. Bush in Oliver Stones my first thoughts were “Why the hell are they making a movie on George Bush?”, and secondly, “Josh Brolin doesn’t look anything like him. Brolin looks slightly intelligent for a start” but J.B. definitely resembles George W Bush in the upcoming “W” film, about the life of the current US President. In one of the two new pictures that we have for you, Brolin is dressed in a Texas Rangers jacket, the team that Bush co-owned.
