People’s Choice Awards Winners For 2011 Announce
The 37th People’s Choice Awards, honoring the best in popular culture for 2010, were held on January 5, 2011 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California, and were broadcast live on CBS. The show has been held annually since 1975 and is voted on by the general public. Queen Latifah was the host for the fifth consecutive year.
Voting began in October to see who would receive a coveted People’s Choice nod in 2011, and continued until November 9, 2010 – when official nominees were announced in some 40 categories – including Favorite Country Artist, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite TV Comedy.
Eminem to Star in Random Acts of Violence
Hey guys, check this out! According to the latest reports Eminem is set to star in a new crime thriller called Random Acts Of Violence!
So, we heard that he signed onto the upcoming Southpaw, project, but now it looks that he’s getting ready to star in another one.
This is not such a surprise, since the 20th Century Fox production has been in development for more than four years…
“An ex-con smarter than his past is fresh out of prison and trying to stay legit – but his efforts are complicated by his old gang who wants him back on the job.
So, too, does the FBI, which hopes he’ll wear a wire and bring down the crime syndicate.
Eminem to Star in Southpaw
Eminem‘s fans, check this out!
Famous rapper will play the lead role in Southpaw, a film about “a fast-rising welterweight boxer who brawls his way to the title, only to see his world crash down around him due to tragedy.”
At this moment, we know that the movie will be produced by Em’s Shady Films’ managers and producing partners Paul Rosenberg and Stuart Parr, along with Alan and Peter Riche of Riche Productions.
Kurt Sutter, the executive producer of Sons of Anarchy and The Shield, will serve as the screenplay writer.
Eminem in “Funny People” First Look
Eminem will appear in Judd Apatow‘s “Funny People.” It’s only a cameo, so that will be probably just the one scene. This was just the rumor but the first picture of his appearance is now online. We’ve got the very first look at Eminem’s tableside chat with Adam Sandler’s character, a comedian named George Simmons.
Marshall Mather – Eminem has only a small role in the film, but rounds out an extremely impressive cast that includes Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, Eric Bana, Jonah Hill, Jason Schwartzman, Sarah Silverman, Norm MacDonald, Aziz Ansari, RZA, Dave Attell among the others.
