Production has started on Ron Howard‘s second installment of the Dan Brown series, ”Angels and Demons.”
Based on Dan Brown’s novel “Angels & Demons,” published in 2000, the movie follows Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon to analyze a mysterious symbol seared into the chest of a murdered physicist.
First look: Jim Carrey on the set of ‘I Love You Phillip Morris’
These are the first pictures of Jim Carrey in the upcoming comedy I Love You Phillip Morris, where Carrey plays a married father who gets sent to prison and falls in love with a cell mate. His love leads him to make several escape attempts. Leslie Mann and Ewan McGregor co-star.
Ewan McGregor exhausted by the number of sex scenes in ‘Deception’
Ewan McGregor has revealed that he was exhausted by the number of sex scenes in new movie Deception.
The actor was required to film love scenes with five strangers for the psychological thriller, which also stars Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams.
McGregor plays an accountant who is introduced to a mysterious sex club by his lawyer friend (Jackman). He soon becomes a suspect in a woman’s disappearance and a multi-million dollar heist.
He said of the shoot: “I’d be introduced to a girl, do sex scenes with her, go back to my dressing room, have coffee, come back, then it’s ‘Hello, I’m Ewan’ to another girl, clothes off and off we go.
Leslie Mann to join Jim Carrey ‘I Love You Phillip Morris’
Leslie Mann is joining Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor in the black comedy “I Love You Phillip Morris.” Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the scribes behind “Bad Santa,” are directing.
The story follows a married father (Carrey) who is sent to prison and falls in love with a cellmate named Phillip Morris. His love leads him to make several escape attempts.
Mann will play Carrey’s wife.
Ewan McGregor Plays Jim Carrey’s Love Interest In I Love You Philip Morris
Jim Carrey is falling in love with Ewan McGregor, and they’re totally going to make out. On screen anyway. Who knows what’ll happen once they walk off camera. Personally, I find Ewan pretty irresistible, but who knows if he’d go for a little hetero on hetero makeout session when there’s no one around in his trailer. Come on, it’s Ewan McGregor. He got to hold a lightsaber! You get some sort of gay for a day pass for that or something, don’t you? He’s kind of like Angelina Jolie for guys. Anyway, we know that on screen at least Carrey and McGregor will get all lovey-dovey in a new movie called I Love You Phillip Morris.
Variety says McGregor has been cast as the romantic lead in the film opposite Jim Carrey. The movie is a dark comedy being directed by the guys who wrote Bad Santa. Nobody does dark better than those guys.
