“Burn After Reading” poster
An interesting poster for the upcoming “Burn After Reading” film has been released. It features a silhouette of a man looking through binoculars and an arm holding a gun. The tagline states: “Intelligence is relative.”
Written and directed by the Coen Brothers, this new dark-spy comedy stars Academy Award nominee John Malkovich as an ousted CIA official whose memoir accidentally falls into the hands of two unwise gym employees (Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand) intent on exploiting their find. The film also features George Clooney, Tilda Swinton and Richard Jenkins.
“Burn After Reading” will premiere at the 2008 Venice International Film Festival before arriving in theaters on September 12th.

Today we have “Burn After Reading” Coen Brothers ‘R’ rated yellow band trailer, starring George Clooney, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt and Tilda Swinton.
In the film, Ozzie Coxs (John Malkovich), a former CIA agent whose soon-to-be ex-wife (Frances McDormand) steals a disc containing his memoirs and accidentally leaves it at the gym where it is found by a trainer (Brad Pitt) who believes he can use the info to blackmail Cox. Clooney will play an assassin hired by the CIA to take care of the situation.
“Burn After Reading” hits theaters on September 12th, in wide release.

Clips and Featurette of ‘Miss Pettigrew’ Comes Out
Focus Features have released 5 clips and 1 featurette of the upcoming comedy drama film “Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day”. The featurette which compiles various scenes from the movie as well as provides comments from director Bharat Nalluri lasts up to nearly 4 minutes, whereas each clip runs less than a minute.
While the film is set for limited release on March 7, the featurette and clips can be viewed below or via “Pettigrew” trailer page at AceShowbiz. Each of the clips to be seen showcases the leading character, Pettigrew as she explores her new job as Delysia Lafosse’s secretary.
Featuring Academy Award winner Frances McDormand and Academy Award nominee Amy Adams, the sophisticated comedy centers the story on Miss Guinevere Pettigrew, a middle-aged governess who is unfairly fired from her job. She then finds herself working outside her comfort level as she becomes the social secretary of American actress and singer, Lafosse.
