Aspiring artists and Ghost Rider™ fans can create a movie poster that shows off their creativity and design skills in the Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance Face of the Fan® Contest. In the contest, the studio is looking for fan art that captures the excitement of the legendary character.
Fans can start by going to www.faceofthefan.com/ghostriderspiritofvengeance or www.facebook.com/FaceOfTheFan to view and download the digital assets to help the entrants create their original posters. Each entrant may submit up to three finished pieces that then express the tone of Ghost Rider and the anticipation for the film, which will be released in 3D in theaters on February 17, 2012.

Sony Pictures have released the first trailer and poster for “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.” Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures’ and Hyde Park Entertainment’s Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny – still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Three new high-resolution photos from Marvel’s upcoming superhero sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance have just hit the Internet thanks to Empire.
The film centers on Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Nicolas Cage), hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil (Ciaran Hinds), who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the kid’s birthday.
Christopher Lambert In Talks To Join Ghost Rider 2
Christopher Lambert (“Highlander” movies) has reportedly opened talks to appear in Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance, the comic book sequel assembling at Sony. On the “Highlander” Facebook page the following was announced.
If cast, Lambert will star alongside Nicolas Cage, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth. Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank, Gamer) are directing.
Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider 2 Confirmed
Nicolas Cage will be back for the upcoming Ghost Rider 2, just in case you’ve been worried about that.
The title for this movie is not announced officially by the makers Sony, but there are rumors saying it’s going to be Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
Cage also confirmed that Mark Neveldine and Bryan Taylor, the directors of Crank will direct the movie.
At this moment, there are still no details about the upcoming sequel, but David Goyer has been working on the script and he previously mentioned that the film is set 8 years after the first one, and is a “bit more stripped down and darker.”

During an interview to promote this Friday’s action film “Bangkok Dangerous“, Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage confirms that there is going to be a “Ghost Rider 2” and that plans are already underway for it. As a matter of fact, they even have a chunk of the plot set out.
