The classic western TV series “Gunsmoke,” that ran for 20 seasons, is being rebooted as a feature for CBS Films. James Arness, Milburn Stone and Amanda Blake led the cast of the TV version.
CBS has tapped Gregory Poirier (“National Treasure: Book of Secrets”) to write the script.
