The first trailer, poster and pics for the upcoming crime thriller “Takers” have appeared online.
” Takers” synopsis: Notorious group of criminals continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.
“New York, I Love You” Promo Trailer
Take a look at the promo trailer for “New York, I Love You” from the producer of “Paris, je t’aime” that opened the 2006 ‘Un Certain Regard’ section of the Cannes Film Festival.
“New York, I Love You” is a collection of 12 short films that will be a cinematic love letter to the Big Apple.
Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson are making their directorial debuts and helming their own segments. Portman also plays a Jewish bride.
Shia LeBeouf with Julie Christie and John Hurt is in a segment scripted by the late Anthony Minghella, which he was also set to direct until his death. He is replaced by Shekhar Kapur.
Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Chris Cooper, Anton Yelchin, Ethan Hawke and Kevin Bacon will take acting roles, whilst X-Men 3 helmer Brett Ratner will direct a segment. Continue Reading…
Hayden Christensen Is Ready To Jump Again
Hayden Christensen revealed that there are talks about a sequel ”Jumper.”

“We’re talking about it,” Christensen tells Sun Media about filming a sequel to his sci-fi action movie,”Jumper.”
“I know that they’re having those conversations, I hear about them,” Christensen says of development plans for Jumper 2.
When asked if he would indeed reprise his role, he offered, “Oh yeah, and I think I probably will.”
Doug Liman originally planned a movie trilogy based on Steven Gould’s novel. Liman spun out a liberal re-imagining of Gould’s more personal story about child abuse, which had jumping as a metaphor for escape.
“It was set up to become that, a trilogy, if it did well,” says Christensen. “And I think they’re happy with how it did so they want to make another one. But I don’t think they’re rushing to get into production.”

Hayden Christensen is a Neuromancer?
JoBlo.com got the scoop today that Hayden Christensen may be cast in the upcoming movie Neuromancer, based on the book by William Gibson.
The project was set up a few months ago and will be directed by Joseph Kahn (Torque, unfortunately) with a $70 million budget – high considering that the film isn’t set up at any major studio.
While it’s not confirmed, this could easily turn into something cool – the 1984 book is generally considered to have created the whole “cyberpunk” sub-genre.

And as Davey explores his new power he learns that the world is literally his for the taking. But there are consequences too, as Davey will learn.

Jessica Alba at ‘Awake’ Premiere
Jessica Alba and Hayden Christensen were at the New York premiere of new movie Awake presented by New York Observer at NYC’s Chelsea West Cinema on Wednesday. The psychological thriller will hit theaters next Friday, Nov. 30.

Awake is a psychological thriller that tells the story of a man (Christensen) who suffers “anesthetic awareness” (An occurrence where during surgery where not enough anesthetic medication for the patient’s body weight) and finds himself awake and aware, but paralyzed, during heart surgery. His young wife (Alba) must wrestle with her own demons as a drama unfolds around them.
