Episode 7 of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy,” titled “Raiden,” has come online.

Episode 7: “Scorpion and Sub Zero (Part 1)” synopsis:

Hanzo Hasashi, better known as the warrior Scorpion, is summoned to meet with the Shogun of Kumamoto Castle. While traveling, the fearless General of the Shirai Ryu clan encounters his mortal enemy, Sub-Zero. Scorpion realizes too late that this trap has led him away from his village and family, leaving them without means to defend themselves. He knows that he must defeat Sub-Zero and return to his village before it is too late.

Brand New Tekken Trailer

Tekken Photo, Cung Le (Marshall Law)

A brand new trailer has been released for the upcoming video game adaptation of Tekken.

Tekken is directed by Dwight H. Little (Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Marked for Death, Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid). It’s based on Namco’s popular series of fighting games, which first debuted in 1994.

A Young Man Who seeks revenge of his mothers death. He finds his grand-father, Heihachi Mishima, and pleas to be trained. When the Mishima leader announces a “King of Iron Fist” tournament. He finds out that his mother’s killer, OGRE, will be participating in the tournament. He must fight against the worlds top competitors to achieve his goal with no interference.

Below we have a brand new poster for live action game-based movie Tekken.

Set in 2039, the film promises non-stop high flying action as the greatest fighters from around the world come to compete in the last and greatest sporting event of all time, the Fist Tournament. After World Wars destroy much of civilization as we know it, the remaining territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations the mightiest of which is Tekken. In order to keep the masses down, Tekken sponsors the Iron Fist Tournament in which fighters compete to the death for ultimate glory and receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth.

Mortal Kombat Reboot Movie in the Works?

Yesterday, almost eight-minute mysterious trailer for Mortal Kombat appeared on Youtube thanks to MortalKombatRebirth. Latinoreview confirmed it is a test video shot for Warner Brothers to get funding for a new Mortal Kombat film.

It centers on Jax trying to convince a shadowy figure to enter the Mortal Kombat tournament and kill vicious psychopaths Baraka, Reptile, and other murderers that are participating. It’s a “real-world” approach so Reptile is actually the victim of a rare hereditary disease and Baraka is a doctor who went mad and inserted giant blades into his arms.

The cast includes Michael Jai White (Jax), Jeri Ryan (Sonya Blade), Matt Mullins (Johnny Cage), Lateef Crowder (Baraka) and Ian Anthony Dale (Scorpion)

Warner Bros. has debuted 20 new photos  from the upcoming film Tekken.

A futuristic martial arts action film based on the best-selling Japanese video game from Namco. The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people.

The big screen adaptation is directed by Dwight H. Little (Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Marked for Death, Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid), stars Jon Foo, Luke Goss, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Cung Le, Chiaki Kuriyama, Gary Daniels, Ian Anthony Dale, Tamlyn Tomita, Kelly Overton, Mircea Monroe, Lateef Crowder, Candice Hillebrand, Gary Ray Stearns and Marian Zapico.

After World Wars destroy much of civilization as we know it, the remaining territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations the mightiest of which is Tekken. In order to keep the masses down, Tekken sponsors the Iron Fist Tournament in which fighters compete to the death for ultimate glory and receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth.

We are introduced to this violent world through the eyes of Jin Kazama, a street fighter that enters the tournament in order to avenge the death of his mother that he blames upon Tekken’s powerful and controlling Chairman, Heihachi Mishima. He knows that the only way to get close enough to Mishima to kill him is to win the tournament. With the help of Lucas, an ageing Iron Fist Champion and fight trainer, Jin makes his way through the tournament, but in doing so, he begins to uncover his own past and inner demons as well as exposing a dark underbelly to Tekken that threatens the very existence of humanity. With futuristic and imaginative sets, a compelling story, and fight sequences combining fighting styles from all over the world.

Tekken movieThe first shots of the cast from the upcoming video game adaptation movie “Tekken” have been released, featuring a look at Jon Foo (The Protector) as Jin Kazama, Marian Zapico as Anna Williams, Gary Daniels as Bryan Fury, Ian Anthony Dale as Kazuya and Mircea Monroe as Kara.

Jin Kazama is a young and talented fighter with dark power within him. Slowly torn apart and consumed with evil and hatred due to the Devil Gene he has inherited from his father, Kazuya Mishima, he figures out that saving himself means confronting his father and his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. And his one chance for freedom comes at The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

The film is directed by Dwight H. Little ( Anacondas 2, Deep Blue, Murder at 1600, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers).
