James McAvoy’s FILTH Shoot Begins

Principal photography on feature film Filth, written and directed by Jon S. Baird (Cass) is officially announced today. James McAvoy (Arthur Christmas), Jamie Bell (The Adventures of Tintin), Jim Broadbent (The Iron Lady), Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), and Imogen Poots (Jane Eyre) star.

Shooting the film based on the best-selling novel by Irvine Welsh has commenced in Glasgow, Scotland as well as on location in Sweden, Belgium and Hamburg.

Imogen PootsGreetings From Tim Buckley is the upcoming Dan Algrant‘s project that definitely sounds promising. Now, even more, when we know that great Imogen Poots is set to join previously announced Penn Badgley.

Poots is one busy lady, indeed, but we’re sure she’ll be great playing a young woman who meets Jeff Buckley while working at the concert.

The whole thing was written by Dan Algrant, Emma Sheanshang and David Brendel, and it will tell the true story of the days leading up to Jeff Buckley’s eminent 1991 performance at his father’s tribute concert in St. Ann’s Church.

Through a romance with a young woman working at the concert, he comes to understand the father who abandoned him.

Culminating in a cathartic performance of his father’s most famous songs, Jeff’s debut stuns the audience and launches his career as one of the greatest young musicians of his time

Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all going on: he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the most coveted girl in his high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend. But trouble arrives when Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—but everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice.

We have added four new international posters  for DreamWorks Pictures upcoming reimagining of the 1980′s horror movie, “Fright Night“.

Based on the 1985 original and given an updating from Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series writer Marti Noxon, Fright Night still follows high school student Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) who finds out that his new neighbor, Jerry Dandridge (Colin Farrell), is a vampire. Once Jerry discovers that Charlie knows the truth, he must protect his mother (Toni Collette) and girlfriend (Imogen Poots) from Dandridge.

It’s Friday…13th…so, it’s time for a good horror vampire movie! Ok, maybe if that vampire is Colin Farrell!

However, DreamWorks has released the first trailer for Fright Night 3D remake directed by Craig Gillespie. The first official poster for the film has been revealed as well.

Gillespie will introduce his take on this cult classic movie, nearly 26 years to the day after the Tom Holland original comedy-horror about a teenager who discovers his new next-door neighbor is a vampire premiered in 1985.

Hollywood’s up and coming stars have a fresh target: Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. co-production The Seventh Son.

Variety reports that as with most tentpoles these days, almost every young actor and actress of note in town is up for the open roles, especially including Sam Claflin (On Stranger Tides), Caleb Landry-Jones (Banshee in X-Men: First Class) and James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom) are testing for Tom, while Imogen Poots (Solitary Man), Felicity Jones (Like Crazy), Alicia Vikander, Gabrielle Wild and Dianna Agron (Glee) are up for the role of Alice.

Focus Features just released a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette for the upcoming drama Jane Eyre, starring Mia Wasikowska, and Michael Fassbender. The featurette inlcudes behind the scenes footage from filming and interviews with Wasikowska, Fassbender, Judi Dench and director Cary Fukunaga.

In the story, Jane Eyre (Mia Wasikowska) flees Thornfield House, where she works as a governess for wealthy Edward Rochester (Michael Fassbender). As she reflects upon the people and emotions that have defined her, it is clear that the isolated and imposing residence – and Mr. Rochester’s coldness – have sorely tested the young woman’s resilience, forged years earlier when she was orphaned.
