Oscars Toward Bottom Line’s Winner
Oscars didn’t exactly precipitated on Paramount this year, but the company’s bottom line shine a double gold – one that reducing losses and also raising the prospect of significant increases.
The attention has been concentrated on Paramount six years ago when the studio had weak profits and a thin schedule. Executive Brad Grey was being beaten by bloggers that must soon fade away. Last year, however, box office reached to $416 million based on a blend of low-budget movies like Paranormal Activity 2 and big-bucks deals like How to Train Your Dragon and Iron Man 2.And when rivals were faced failing to recoup its budgets like How Do You Know and Gulliver’s Travels, Paramount released a $38 million sleeper hit, True Grit, and a $25 million, The Fighter, and even obtains unexpected success with Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never.
Mind-Blowing Review
I would like to show a mind-blowing point of view on films it might interest you as well. If your opinion on psychoanalysis is not the issue and you can’t get such perspective on movies, let’s just amuse yourself.
Due to above mentioned perspective almost every movie has some kind of subtext. And as a result, these half-coded messages turn up in movies you’d never expect.
Spider-Man: Peter Parker‘s Man Juice
You think you’re watching superhero movie about a shy teenager named Peter Parker who discovers that a genetically engineered spider bite has given him superpowers. But this could easily be modified that Spider-Man really is all about semen, or puberty. We tend to find Spider-Man easier to identify with than other superheroes. He’s not an alien, like Superman, or the son of a major Norse god, like Thor. But that’s not all we have in common with Peter Parker: His superhero birth-trauma story is one with which we’re all painfully familiar — puberty.
The Biggest Movie Mistakes And Most Mistake- Ridden Movies of 2010
Iron Man 2 has been named the most mistake-ridden movie of 2010 in website Moviemistakes.com end of the year poll!
Moviemistakes.com was created by Jon Sandys in 1996, and dedicated to the recording of mistakes found in movies and TV. As of 19 October 2010 it currently lists more than 89,706 mistakes, of which over 7,500 have pictures.
The question is why are there mistakes in movies?
Well, those who made the film have been buried in the material, occupied for a great length of time, from months to years depending on the production. They often are focusing on the “big picture”, so details can get by them. And mistakes, goofs and glitches creep into every production, just waiting to be spotted.
Captain America in 3D
We’re tired of this 3D reports. We all hate it, but we still go and watch them? Then we should stop with 3D sarcasm, because it’s our reality, and we can’t do anything about it.
And, on the other hand, Hollywood directors look like kids with some “magic” toy in their hands.
E-v-e-r-y single day somebody is filming or converting some movie. Trust me, even I have a video tape back at home (no, not that kind of tape!) from my prom night that I think I should convert in 3D. And, I’m “happy” to hear that Marvel shares my interest in this trend too…

Iron Man 2 Review
Like the original, Iron Man 2 is a good time from start to finish. Buoyed by Downey – who clearly has so much fun playing Stark that you can’t help but play along – the movie is pretty much all you could ask for from your summer fare: Lighthearted (and actually laugh-out-loud funny in parts), loaded with tons of action and copious amounts of eye candy, and buttressed by the promise of bigger Marvel Comics-based adventures on the horizon…read more [Premiere.com]
Robert Downey Jr. looks as hung over in “Iron Man 2’’ as he seemed drunk in “Iron Man.’’ He does his share of drinking this time, too. And the sequel makes more out of his insobriety. It has an early stretch where it fizzes and slurs, with the stars stepping on each other’s lines and feet. The movie feels drunk, too.
Downey’s billionaire military-industrialist slut, Tony Stark, slams down into his own expo (for both peace and state-of-the-art weaponry) as his ironclad superhero self. The elemental casing falls away, revealing a handsome pinstripe suit. Tony pats himself on the back for saving the world (“I’ve privatized peace,’’ he brags), praises the scantily clad entertainment (hey everybody, it’s the “Iron Man 2’’ dancers), then finds himself served with a subpoena to testify at a Senate committee hearing, where the movie begins its improvement of the flagging after-party atmosphere of the first movie…read more [boston.com]

The world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Downey) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
