New Iron Man Promo Pics via Audi
Latest batch of Iron Man movie promotional pictures via the new Audi website that will be marketing the cars in the movie.
‘Tropic Thunder’ Red Band Teaser Trailer
After releasing a picture earlier this week that still makes us giggle, Paramount has now put a small teaser for Tropic Thunder online, which you can see below.
There’s very little footage in there, but this looks like great fun. It’s got lots of explosions, which, in the words of Michael Bay, is awesome. But the cast is fantastic and looks like they’re having the time of their lives playing actors who think they’re shooting a Vietnam movie but accidentally become involved in real combat when their exasperated director dumps them in the jungle. Nick Nolte with a bazooka would be enough to get us into the cinema, but Robert Downey Jr, in full un-PC make up, is the one that’s guaranteed our interest. With this and Iron Man coming up, we are currently man-crushing on him quite a lot.
Rachel McAdams as Black Orchid?
Before we write another word, let us make this clear: there’s no movie of Black Orchid in development yet. Or if there is, DC and Warners are keeping it very quiet.But Rachel McAdams is certainly interested in it – and given that she’s already missed out on roles in Batman Begins, Fantastic Four AND Iron Man, it seems only fair to give her a little superhero love.
She’s really gotten into the book, and would like to see a movie: “I just read this book Black Orchid and it’s a really interesting character,” she told MTV. “She’s a superhero that’s a flower. I don’t know if that would work or the audiences would be interested in that, but she was kind of cool.”
Final “Iron Man” movie poster?
Is this the final “Iron Man” movie poster? I don’t know, people are saying it is, but considering my track record with movie posters, I’m going to go the cautious route and add the question mark behind it. In any case, if this is the final “Iron Man” poster, it looks good, and has that nice “The Rocketeer” vibe to it. And I’m a big fan of “The Rocketeer”, and from everything I’ve seen of “Iron Man“, it looks like a winner. Check out another poster for shellhead below.

Brand New ‘Iron Man’ Trailer Lands!
We’re only three months away from having Harrison Ford’s face stamped on every bus phone box and bum cheek (I recently lost a bet), but whilst we sit in wait for the return of Dr. Jones we’re also rather keen on the arrival of Robert Downey Jr. in an iron armour.
Another brand new trailer has turned up for ‘Iron Man‘ and if you thought the previous ones were good, check out this beast. Cutting to the chase and only giving a glance to the hefty bruiser that is the Mark I suit, Tony Stark’s machine loving mind gets straight back to work when returning from his kidnapping in Iraq and onto a sleeker smoother suit which eventually receives a little ‘hot rod red’.
But as Stark is flying around and giving US fighter jets the slip, an enemy is rising within his own business, one who will eventually strike at the billionaire hero with his own weapon.
Downey Jr. could have easily found the role he was born to play and Gwyneth Paltrow looks surprisingly alright as a ginger (pronounced ‘ging-gah’), but we’ll leave the opinions up to you. Have a gander and see what you think…

Jon Favreau Talks ‘Iron Man’
While at the Wonder Con 2008 event, director Jon Favreau sat down and talked Iron Man with members of the press and here’s what he had to say about the upcoming adaptation of the famous comic icon.
“Iron Man has to attract people who don’t know anything about the comics, or who don’t know anything about the character,” Favreau said. “So we sort of walk everybody through everything that happened. I think we also limit things a bit, make things a little bit more plausible, so that people don’t look at it and say, oh it’s just a comic book movie anyway, anything could happen. And then we also have a cast that is a little bit more broadly appealing, people might give us a chance who wouldn’t normally come to a Marvel-type film. But for the fans, we wanted to have enough stuff happening in there that it seems like we were either reacting to or by making a choice to go against what their expectations might be, based on the comics. So we always said, okay, here’s a suit that was in [the film], how do we tip a hat to the suit that wasn’t in? In the books, Iron Man was in this country, he was in Vietnam — well let’s make it Afghanistan now, that seems consistent.”

Check out this new poster that debuted at Wondercon. For tech-geeks, it’s ultra cool – showing all three armors from the film: The original Mark I, The prototype Mark II and the final red & gold Mark III Iron Man armor.

Four New ‘Iron Man’ Images
JoBlo has got hold of some new Iron Man shots, and even though they don’t show our hero in action, we do get to see Tony Stark having his tie tugged by a woman in a bikini. So that’s good.

Marvel.com has released a screenshot from the Iron Man advertisement which will premiere during the Super Bowl this Sunday.
The Superbowl is not only a time for Americans to drink beer, eat their weight in salty snacks and shout impotently at the TV. It’s also a time for the big movie studios to plug their big summer projects.
Other movie related Super Bowl spots include Hancock, Don’t Mess With the Zohan, Semi-Pro (in collaboration with Budweiser), Drillbit Taylor, Wall-E and/or The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Universal (The Incredible Hulk maybe?), Warner Bros. and Fox have also bought time during the game, but did not reveal which films would be featured.
