Elizabeth Banks reunites with her 40 Year-Old Virgin co-stars Steve Carell and Catherine Keener on the musical satire of Hollywood, Charlie Kaufman’s sophomore feature.
Paul Reubens a.k.a. Pee-wee Herman has joined the cast as well.
Charlie Kaufman’s FRANK OR FRANCIS Adds Kate Winslet and Catherine Keener
Charlie Kaufman has added two big-name actresses to the celebrity market of ambitious, satiric musical Frank or Francis, which he also wrote.
Kate Winslet and Catherine Keener have received Oscar nominations for performing in films written by Kaufman – Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Being John Malkovich. Now they have been added to the already impressive cast of his musical comedy.
THE MUPPETS Final Parody Trailer Aims at Paranormal Activity, Twilight and Puss in Boots
Disney has released the final parody trailer for The Muppets, this time out, Kermit and his cronies are taking stabs at Puss in Boots, Paranormal Activity 3 and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn
Directed by James Bobin (Da Ali Gi Show, The Flight of the Conchords) from a script by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller, the film stars Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and a host of others, including Rashida Jones, Zach Galifianakis, Jack Black, Ed Helms, Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry and Donald Glover.
Another THE MUPPETS Poster
The Muppets has a new poster courtesy of Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by James Bobin with a script by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller, the November 23rd release stars Segel and Amy Adams as a couple from Smalltown, USA who discover that Chris Cooper’s devious Tex Richman is planning to knock down the Muppet Theatre and drill for oil. Jack Black, Emily Blunt, Mila Kunis, Selena Gomez, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais and Katy Perry will also appear in The Muppets.

Four New THE MUPPETS posters
Disney has revealed four new character posters for The Muppets. Coming to theaters this Thanksgiving on November 23, the film stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Alan Arkin, Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zach Galifianakis, Kathy Griffin, Ricky Gervais and Emily Blunt. The film is directed by James Bobin.

Today we have trailer, clip and two posters for director David Frankel‘s (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me) upcoming comedy The Big Year.
Adapted from Mark Obmascik’s 1998 novel “The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature” and “Fowl Obsession” by Howard Franklin (The Man Who Knew Too Little), The Big Year is about three men who decide that they need a major life change and make a huge decision: for an entire year they will try and find some of the rarest birds in North America.
Black, Cage and Carell to Star in the Kaufman’s Frank or Francis
In late December 2010, some sources revealed that Charlie Kaufman would be re-teaming with long time collaborator Spike Jonze for a sophomore directorial effort. Well, that’s just-announced there seems to be some movement on that front as well. Joaquin Phoenix is secured to star and Kaufman has attached both Jack Black and Nicolas Cage and is also in talks with Steve Carrell to join Frank or Francis, the next project to be written and directed by Kaufman.
