Karate Kid Sequel Gets a New Writer
Zak Penn is a screenwriter who made it big fast. He cut his teeth on the X-Men sequels and has now been tapped to do a rewrite on untitled The Karate Kid sequel, despite original thought that the screenplay would be written by the writers of Kung Fu Panda, Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris.

In 1911, to celebrate his 100th movie, Chan will portray Huang Xing, the first commander-in-chief of the army of the Republic of China, the right hand man of Sun Yat-Sen (played by Winston Chao).

Well Go USA & Variance Films has released a movie trailer for Kung Fu movie Shaolin, starring Andy Lau (House of Flying Daggers, Warlords), Nicholas Tse (The Promise, Bodyguards & Assassins), and Jackie Chan (The Forbidden Kingdom,The Spy Next Door, The Karate Kid).
