New Jane Eyre Featurette
Focus Features just released a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette for the upcoming drama Jane Eyre, starring Mia Wasikowska, and Michael Fassbender. The featurette inlcudes behind the scenes footage from filming and interviews with Wasikowska, Fassbender, Judi Dench and director Cary Fukunaga.
In the story, Jane Eyre (Mia Wasikowska) flees Thornfield House, where she works as a governess for wealthy Edward Rochester (Michael Fassbender). As she reflects upon the people and emotions that have defined her, it is clear that the isolated and imposing residence – and Mr. Rochester’s coldness – have sorely tested the young woman’s resilience, forged years earlier when she was orphaned. She must now act decisively to secure her own future and come to terms with the past that haunts her – and the terrible secret that Mr. Rochester is hiding and that she has uncovered…

Yesterday we posted an early poster for Cary Fukunaga’s (Sin Nombre) adaptation of famous novel by English writer Charlotte Brontë – Jane Eyre.
But today we are here to share with you the first trailer for the movie. Check it out below.
In this adaptation we will watch Mia Wasikowska as Jane Eyre, Michael Fassbender as Edward Rochester, Jamie Bell as St. John, Judi Dench as Mrs. Fairfax and Imogen Poots as Blanche Ingram.
Fukunaga will direct from the script written by Moira Buffini.

Ellen Page will play one of English literature’s most famous characters, the eponymous heroine of Charlotte Bronte‘s Jane Eyre.
Alison Owen of Ruby Films has teamed up with BBC Films for the latest version of Charlotte Bronte’s 1847 book.
The story revolves around a shy orphan who finds work as a governess at Thornfield Manor, where she falls in love with brooding employer Edward Rochester.
Moira Buffini has written the screenplay. Owen’s previous credits include The Other Boleyn Girl.
