Indiana Jones Tops Hero Poll

Harrison FordActors Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford have been voted the greatest ever action heroes. Around a quarter of the 3,000 people polled remembered Ford fondly as Han Solo in Star Wars and swashbuckling archaeologist Indiana Jones, a role he takes up again later on this year – for the fourth time.

Willis also set the standard in the 1980s, as John McClane in Die Hard, a role he reprised for the fourth time last year.

Third place was taken by Last Action Hero star Arnold Schwarzenegger, with 15 per cent of the vote.

‘Bourn Ultimatum 4′ announced

'Bourn Ultimatum 4' announcedStill early days for sure, but it seems that Universal are keen to announce their intentions regarding more missions for that Bond squashing two legged tank Jason Bourne with an announcement that Bourne Ultimatum 4 is a go.Before you run the Treadstone flag up the flag pole, Matt Damon hasn’t officially dignified the world with his agreement to participate and neither has the geezer that’s given the series it’s trademark high velocity ultra realistic look, director Paul Greengrass.

Despite having run out of Bourne books to base things on, the lads and lasses at Universal have got a plan it seems. From Yahoo news comes this quote…

Universal, meanwhile, has announced a fourth “Bourne” movie reteaming Damon and director Paul Greengrass, though Ludlum wrote only three novels. Two recent Bourne books were written by Eric Van Lustbader and published after Ludlum’s death in 2001, with a third Van Lustbader title expected in the summer.
