Funny New “Fanboys” Poster
Another poster for the upcoming “Fanboys” movie has just debuted over at Cinematical, showing a fan wearing a Darth Vader helmet.
In the movie, a group of friends who are avid Star Wars fans travel west to see the Holly Grail of all sci-fi movies, “Star Wars: Episode I.” The year is 1999 and for these death star dorks, the Star Wars films are more than just movies; they are a way of life. So, after one of the group takes sick it is nothing short of a moral imperative that the friends break into George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch to watch the seminal sci-fi picture together before its release. Enlisting the help of an estranged friend, who has traded in his Darth Vader mask for a proper day job, the adventure lays way to some extremely funny situations, including an outrageous brawl with some hard-core Trekkies.
“Fanboys” directed by Kyle Newman, stars Dan Fogler, Jay Baruchel, Kristen Bell, Chris Marquette and Sam Huntington. The Weinstein Company originally scheduled Fanboys for release a few years back but kept delaying it due to test screening complaints and other issues. “Tropic Thunder” is a comedy about five actors who go on location and find themselves relying on their boot camp experiences when they get stuck in a real war-like situation.

“Tropic Thunder” - International Trailer
The latest trailer for for Ben Stiller’s new action comedy “Tropic Thunder” comes as an international one and with it we get some great new scenes.
Ben Stiller plays pampered action superstar Tugg Speedman, who is cast in the biggest, most expensive war movie ever produced. He sets out to Southeast Asia with a “Who’s Who” of celebrity co-stars. They include Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), an intense, three-time Oscar-winning actor, Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black), star of the popular gross-out comedy franchise “The Fatties”, multi-platinum hiphop-star-turned-entrepreneur-turned-actor Alpa Chino (Brandon T. Jackson) and first-timer Kevin Sandusky (Jay Baruchel). Soon after the production begins the actors are thrown into a real-life situation and are forced to become the fighting unit they’re portraying, in order to find a way out of the jungle in one piece.
“Tropic Thunder” will hit theaters on August 15th
