New ‘Mummy 3′ Trailer with ‘Wanted’
The first teaser trailer for “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” hit theaters and the net in early May and now, we know when to expect the second trailer. Director Rob Cohen has once again made a blog update over on his official website, where he gives the fans an idea on how far along they are in the special effects phase of post production as well as giving the precise day of the new trailer.

The new teaser trailer and new shots for Universal Pictures’ The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor are now online! Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick O’Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas.
The film takes place in the Far East, trouble-seeking father-and-son duo Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Alex O’Connell (Luke Ford) unearth the mummy of the first Emperor of Qin (Jet Li) — a shape-shifting entity who was cursed by a wizard (Michelle Yeoh) centuries ago.

Universal Pictures has released three new shots from their upcoming “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor,” featuring a look at Mario Bello as Evelyn O’Connell and John Hannah driving the entire O’Connell family.
The film takes place in the Far East, trouble-seeking father-and-son duo Rick (Brendan Frasier) and Alex O’Connell (Luke Ford) unearth the mummy of the first Emperor of Qin (Jet Li) — a shape-shifting entity who was cursed by a wizard (Michelle Yeoh) centuries ago.
Jet Li Alters Script To Suit Western Viewers
said he has changed the script of his upcoming movie with fellow action star Jackie Chan to better suit Western tastes, an online news site reported. Li said “The Forbidden Kingdom” was conceived as a film about Chinese mythology’s monkey king and he thought the idea of a kung fu fighting monkey was too far-fetched for Western viewers, according to an interview transcript posted on the Chinese news website Sina.com.
Li said he altered the script, inspired by the classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West,” to turn the story into a child’s dream about Chinese mythology. He said this would make characters with special powers like the monkey king more believable to a Western audience. Continue Reading…

There is a new ‘The Forbidden Kingdom’ movie trailer out and I’ve got to say I like it a whole lot more than the previous one.
