Jim Caviezel and Chiwetel Ejiofor have joined the cast of the upcoming Annette Haywood-Carter‘s historical drama Savannah.

Caviezel and Ejiofor join the cast that already includes Bradley Whitford, Jaimie Alexander, Jack McBrayer and Hal Holbrook.

Haywood-Carter is quite interesting choice for this kind of story, and you probably remember her work from Foxfire, where she directed Angelina Jolie, or The Foot Shooting Party with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Last year, Hayword-Carter explained that:

“It’s a story about this very eccentric, bigger-than-life hunter named Ward Allen and his friendship with a freed slave named Christmas Moultrie.

Jim Caviezel Joins Transit

Jim CaviezelTransit is the title of the upcoming Antonio Negret‘s movie that already includes some interesting cast: Elisabeth Röhm, Harold Perrineau, Diora Baird and James Frain.

Today, we’re here to update the whole thing by adding Jim Caviezel to that list as well!

Transit is a story written by “According to Greta” writer Michael Gilvary, and will focus on a group of a “…thieves on the run from a bank robbery come across a suburban family on its way to a camping trip.

When the criminals stash their stolen money in the family’s SUV at a rest stop, the road trippers, with Caviezel as the protective father, unwittingly draw the murderous band of outlaws on their trail.”

So, like we mentioned, Caviezel will play the father of the family unwittingly caught up with the robbers while James Frain has also been cast as a member of the gang of robbers (together with Perrineau and Baird). On the other hand, Elisabeth Rohm will play Caviezel’s wife.

Brand New “Outlander” International Poster

Today, we have a international poster for the upcoming Jim Caviezel sci-fi film “Outlander,” featuring a shot of a group of Vikings. The film is produced by Barrie Osborne, the man behind “Lord of the Rings.”

As an age old battle rages amongst the stars, Kainan’s (Caviezel) ship burns brightly as it crashes into the Nordic coast. As his space craft comes to rest in the fjords of ancient Norway, it’s with dismay that Kainan realizes that he wasn’t the only survivor. A second passenger, a Moorwen also emerges from the wreckage. A Fierce and animal-like creature, the Moorwen is intent on causing harm to those it perceives have wronged it. As the Moorwen kills everything in its path, Kainan must work together with the Vikings to destroy the beast before it destroys them all.
