Daniel Craig will play a family man in psychological thriller “Dream House.”

The movie will be directed by acclaimed director Jim Sheridan (”In America,” “My Left Foot,” “In the Name of the Father,” “The Boxer,” “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”), who has been nominated for six Oscars and two Golden Globes.

Sheridan will direct “Dream House” from the script written by David Loucka.

The trailer for “Brothers“, a compelling tale of how two brothers come to terms with issues of love, loyalty, and manhood-and with the woman caught between them, is online.

Synopsis: “Brothers” tells the powerful story of two siblings, thirty-something Captain Sam Cahill (Tobey Maguire) and younger brother Tommy Cahill (Jake Gyllenhaal), who are polar opposites. A Marine about to embark on his fourth tour of duty, Sam is a steadfast family man married to his high school sweetheart, the aptly named Grace (Natalie Portman), with whom he has two young daughters. Tommy, his charismatic younger brother, is a drifter just out of jail who’s always gotten by on wit and charm. When his Black Hawk helicopter is shot down in the mountains Sam is presumed dead and the Cahill family suddenly faces a shocking void. Tommy tries to fill in for his brother by assuming newfound responsibility for himself, Grace, and the children. In the grief and strangeness of their new lives, Grace and Tommy are naturally drawn together. Their longstanding frostiness dissolves, but both are frightened and ashamed of the mutual attraction that has replaced it.

Plot summary: A young man Tommy (Gyllenhaal) comforts his older brother’s wife Grace (Portman) and children after her husband Sam (Maguire) goes missing in Afghanistan. While the two are still dealing with the intricate situation, Sam returns home. Carrying the heavy weight of post traumatic stress disorder, he starts suspecting that something happened between his wife and brother when he was away.

Tobey Maguire In "Brothers"

The first trailer for Jim Sheridan‘s new movie “Brothers” has finally showed up even though it’s already showing in theaters in front of “Public Enemies.”

Oscar nominated filmmaker Jim Sheridan (”In America,” “My Left Foot,” “In the Name of the Father,” “The Boxer,” “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”) directed the movie from the script written by David Benioff.

Actually “Brothers” is a U.S. remake of Susanne Bier‘s 2004 Danish film, “Brodre” a film that won and was nominated for several international awards both for the film itself and performances from Connie Nielsen and Ulrich Thomsen.
