Cannes Film Festival is coming, and one of the titles we’ll have a chance to watch in the Un Certain Regard category is Oslo, August 31st.

This is a new film by Joachim Trier and the team behind the highly acclaimed Reprise – inspired by the cult novel Le feu follet.

Described as a portrait of contemporary Oslo, the movie is actually a visually striking and quietly shattering drama about a man in deep existential crisis.

Trailer For Norwegian Movie ‘Reprise’

Opening on May 16th is the debut of filmmaker Joachim Trier and his movie is called “Reprise.” While you probably haven’t heard of the film yet as it was made in Norway, the reason you might be interested is “Reprise” is currently good rated 100% on Internet web sites. Add to that, producer Scott Rudin added his name to the film to help the movie get noticed. That isn’t something he usually does.
