Joe Carnahan to Direct Remake of DEATH WISH
Joe Carnahan is the man responsible for The Grey (and probably it’s box office success as well) and I’m sure you already know all that.
But, what you probably still don’t know is that Carnahan will now be in charge for Death Wish remake!
Yeah, we’ve just learned that Carnahan is on board both to write and direct it!
THE GREY Re-Released in October to Qualify for Oscars?
Originally set to star Bradley Cooper, The Grey was shot in British Columbia, on the mountain where temperatures can drop well below zero and winds blasting over 50 miles an hour. So, the co-writer and director Joe Carnahan had no interest in setting up stage sound equipment or snow machines.
The Jack London-inspired depiction of humans against the elements stars Liam Neeson, genuine 59-year-old action hero.

Movie which is set to open on January 27th, 2012 looks quite interesting, but still I’m not so impressed. Neeson is good as usual but there’s something about this story that looks slow, painful, unoriginal and a little bit boring.
