Jessica Chastain and Joel Edgerton to Star in Double-Feature Film Project
Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘Untitled International Thriller’ about SEAL Team Six and the mission to kill Osama bin Laden won’t be the last time that Jessica Chastain and Joel Edgerton will hang together.
Two of Hollywood’s biggest up-and-comers signed on for a double feature project called The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Hers.

And the lucky winner is… New Regency! Just in case you still don’t know, the Australian actor Joel Edgerton is quite good screenwriter as well and we’ve just learned that he sold his One Night Stand comedy to New Regency.
But don’t worry, he’s not attached to star in it, he will only produce the whole thing!

While the Republicans are calling for an investigation into whether the Obama administration granted Sony Pictures high-level access for a film on the mission that killed Osama bin Laden, The Warrior thesp Joel Edgerton has officially signed on to star in the pic.
His name has been attached back in May, but the script was unfinished and it appeared that Edgerton’s schedule would clash with shooting and he had been replaced by Aussie thesp Jason Clarke in the lead role. But Edgerton passed on the 300 prequel and joins Clarke as the only official cast member.

First official images from Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby have leaked online. Maybe you expect me to say the well-known trio looks fantastic, but they don’t.
When I say trio, I mean Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire.
As for Joel Edgerton who’s also in a pic, I can hardly recognize him. He doesn’t exist. That’s how attractive they all are.
Guy Ritchie to Direct THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
So, we all know that Steven Soderbergh is no longer attached to direct The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and I guess we’re now alright with that decision?
Ok then, let’s move on with some fresh news about the whole thing. According to the latest reports, Guy Ritchie and his new partner Lionel Wigram are now on board for the adaptation of the 1960s spy TV series!

International THE THING Trailer and Poster
Universal Pictures has released an international (Russian) trailer and poster for The Thing, the Matthijs van Heijningen-directed prequel to the classic paranoid horror film.

Universal and IGN have released a new restricted trailer for the sci-fi thriller The Thing.
Set in the days prior to the events of John Carpenter‘s 1982 classic, the prequel centers on a team of Norwegian scientists working in Antarctica. After the group unearths a deadly alien creature from a ship buried in ice, they must band together to survive.
