First Cars 2 TV Spot
Disney-Pixar has debuted the fist TV spot for the upcoming film Cars 2, which will be unleashed in theaters everywhere on June 24, 2011.
The plot of the movie begins when Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage.
Two New Cars 2 Images
Two new images from Disney-Pixar’s Cars 2 have been released online.
In the film, star racecar Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship to exciting new places in “Cars 2″ when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret spy mission, Mater’s action-packed journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan and Europe, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world.

Pixar has released a new poster for the highly-anticipated animated adventure Cars 2.
The film has a voice cast that includes Owen Wilson, Michael Keaton, Michael Caine, Jason Isaacs, Emily Mortimer, John Ratzenberger, Bonnie Hunt, Joe Mantegna, Cheech Marin and Larry the Cable Guy.
New Cars 2 Character Images
Disney has released a batch of new promo images showing off the shiny, beautifully rendered familiar characters from Disney Pixar’s forthcoming Cars 2.
Returning and new to the cast include Lightning McQueen, Luigi, Fillmore, Guido, Mack, Sarge, Pit Crew, Finn McMissile, Holley Shiftwell, Professor Z, Grem, Acer, Siddeley and Mater.
