Today we have for your the first trailer, poster and 27 photos from romantic crime comedy One For the Money which is based on Janet Evanovich’s novel of the same name. It was published in 1994 and is a long-time best-seller, appearing for 75 consecutive weeks on the USA Today list of 150 best-selling novels.
Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl), an unemployed lingerie buyer, convinces her bail bondsman cousin, Vinnie (Patrick Fischler), to give her a shot as a bounty hunter. Her first assignment is to track down a former cop, Joe Morelli (Jason O’Mara), on the run for murder — the same man who broke her heart years before. With the help of some friends and the best bounty hunter in the business, Ranger (Daniel Sunjata), she slowly learns what it takes to be a true bounty hunter.
Katherine Heigl’s One for the Money Gets New Release Date
Lionsgate has moved Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up, The Ugly Truth) summer comedy One For the Money from its originally scheduled for July 8 release date to June 3.
On the original July release date, “One for the Money” would have been one of three comedies opposite Sony’s Kevin James starred The Zookeeper and Seth Gordon-helmed Horrible Bosses from Warner Bros. Variety notices the switch is counter-programming strategy; 20th Century Fox’s fanboy action X-Men: First Class is the only other picture slated for June 3.
