The poster for the upcoming “Revolutionary Road” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet has appeared online.
DiCaprio and Winslet have previously starred in “Titanic,” the highest earning film ever.
Based on the celebrated novel by Richard Yates, director Sam Mendes‘ “Revolutionary Road” is the story of a young couple (Oscar nominees DiCaprio and Winslet) trying to find fulfillment in an age of conformity (mid-1950s). Trapped in a world of encoded convention, they dream without faith, as lies and self-deceptions build to explosive consequences.

Two new character posters for Ridley Scott’s movie based on the novel “Body of Lies” by David Ignatius starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe are online.
“Body of Lies” wil be released in theaters on October 10, 2008.

Trailer for Ridley Scott‘s new movie based on the novel “Body of Lies” by David Ignatius is online now. The first, working title was “Body of Lies” like the novel, but it was changed in “House of Lies.”
Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in “Inglorious Bastards”
As we previously reported, Brad Pitt might be one of the lead roles in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming World War Two film “Inglorious Bastards.”
Tarantino wants Pitt to play the role of Aldo Raine in the World War II drama. He met Brad Pitt in France yesterday to discuss the role. Pitt, who read “Inglorious Bastards,” seems a strong logistical fit for the project.
Tarantino will also meet Leonardo DiCaprio later this week to offer him to play Hans Landa, another lead role in “Inglorious Bastards.”
Several studios said the script is vintage Tarantino and they’re eager to be in business with him at a reasonable price. DiCaprio and Pitt would be appearing in a Tarantino-helmed project for the first time, though Pitt previously spoke Tarantino-scripted dialogue in a small but memorable stoner turn in the Tony Scott-directed “True Romance.” – Variety
Set in World War 2, the story revolves around a group of soldiers on their way to be executed, only they get the chance for a reprieval.
Leonardo DiCaprio will star in ”Atari”
Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to star in ”Atari” (writers – Brian Hecker and Craig Sherman), about the godfather of the video game industry, Nolan Bushnell.
Bushnell was an engineering student, puzzle-lover and game enthusiast who went from fixing broken pinball machines to launching Atari Corp., a video game manufacturer, in the early ’70s.
Its first product was a little game called Pong, which led to hundreds of millions of dollars worth of video game sales. Within a few years, he sold the company to Warner Communications for $28 million.
Ridley Scott about his new sci-fi movie
Eclipse Magazine had an interview with Ridley Scott, where the director has revealed that he intends to make a third science fiction film.
Ridley Scott directed the acclaimed sci-fi films Alien and Blade Runner, but hasn’t worked in the genre for over 25 years.
Scott has found the book that will bring him back to sci-fi:
“I am going to do one. I waited for a book for 20 years and I have got the book. I am not going to tell you what the book is but that film is going to probably be written within the next month.
“That will definitely be what I do next after Nottingham, the Robin Hood film that I am doing now in England.”
