Check out the latest Hollywood rumor, guys! Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann will reprise their Knocked Up roles for a new comedy that remains untitled.
Yes, you read it correctly, and we’re here to report that director Judd Apatow will bring their characters, ‘Debbie and Pete’ back to the big screen in a film that is scheduled to open in theatres in summer 2012.
So, while we’re here let’s jut remind you that Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl featured in Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up as expectant parents dealing with the consequences of a one-night stand.
Rudd enjoyed a supporting role as Heigl’s onscreen brother-in-law, with Apatow’s real-life spouse, Leslie Mann, playing his movie wife.

20th Century Fox has unleashed the first full trailer for the upcoming 3-D animation feature Rio.
Synopsis:Set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforest of Brazil, the comedy-adventure centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind.
When Blu discovers there’s another – and that she’s a she – he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. But it’s far from love at first sight between the domesticated and flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life’s many wonders.
Leslie Mann in The Change-Up
Funny People star, Leslie Mann, has been added to the cast of an upcoming David Dobkin‘s comedy, titled The Change-Up.
Yeah, yeah, we already wrote about this one, so you already know that it’s a body switching story, coming from well-known writing team that stands behind The Hangover – Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, with Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde on board.
The Change Up will follow “a married guy (Bateman) who accidentally swaps bodies with his best friend (Reynolds), who is a single, slacker actor.
Leslie Mann in Judd Apatow’s Business Trip
When you talk about Judd Apatow‘s next project, you already know that Leslie Mann is somehow involved in the story as well.
So, this report is not going to be an exception. Today, we’re here to have a little chat about Business Trip, movie scheduled to begin shooting as early as January 2011, starring Leslie Mann.
Oh, wait, and what about Judd Apatow? Well, he’s in charge for producing the whole thing!
At this moment, we only have information that the film is about “three women who go on a corporate trip but wind up doing anything but business while on company time.”
Ok, that does sound a little bit like female version of The Hangover, but we actually have no problem with Mann when it comes to comedies, do we?

Universal Pictures has released a restricted trailer for the upcoming Judd Apatow‘s comedy “Funny People.”
Plot summary: When seasoned comedian George Simmons (Sandler) learns of his terminal, inoperable health condition, his desire to form a genuine friendship causes him to take a relatively green performer (Rogen) under his wing as his opening act.
Eminem in “Funny People” First Look
Eminem will appear in Judd Apatow‘s “Funny People.” It’s only a cameo, so that will be probably just the one scene. This was just the rumor but the first picture of his appearance is now online. We’ve got the very first look at Eminem’s tableside chat with Adam Sandler’s character, a comedian named George Simmons.
Marshall Mather – Eminem has only a small role in the film, but rounds out an extremely impressive cast that includes Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, Eric Bana, Jonah Hill, Jason Schwartzman, Sarah Silverman, Norm MacDonald, Aziz Ansari, RZA, Dave Attell among the others.

Universal Pictures has released three new TV spots for Judd Apatow‘s comedy/drama “Funny People.”
Over the past few years, writer/director Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up) has shown that nothing-not even losing your virginity or the miracle of childbirth-is sacred. About his third film behind the camera, he says,
“I’m trying to make a very serious movie that is twice as funny as my other movies. Wish me luck!”
