Empire magazine has debuted new photos from Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Clash of the Titans” remake featuring Sam Worthington as Perseus.

Patrick Wilson Joins The A-Team

Patrick WilsonPatrick Wilson (Watchmen, Hard Candy) is set to join the cast of “The A-Team” as a CIA operative, according to Entertainment Weekly. Wilson will be possibly assigned to hunt down the war vets convicted of a crime they didn’t commit and are now on the run as fugitives while helping the oppressed seek justice. He is joining Liam Neeson (John “Hannibal” Smith), Bradley Cooper (Templeton “Face” Peck), Sharlto Copley (H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (B.A. Baracus) and Jessica Biel (Faceman’s ex-flame).

The story keeps the premise of the classic 80’s TV series but will take a more serious tone with the story of four war vets wrongly convicted of armed robbery escape from a military prison to become mercenaries helping the impoverished.

The film will be directed by Joe Carnahan (Narc, Smokin’ Aces), produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, with screenplay written by Derek Haas, Michael Brandt, Skip Woods and Stephen J. Cannell (characters).

Once these two are officially on board the cast will be complete with Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Liam Neeson To Star In “Unknown White Male”

"Out of My Head" Book CoverLiam Neeson is in negotiation to star in Dark Castle thriller “Unknown White Male.”

Jaume Collet-Serra (”Orphan”) will direct the movie from the screenplay written by Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell.

The script is based on the 2003 novel by French author Didier Van Cauwelaert – “Out of My Head” (”Hors de moi”).

Neeson is cast as a doctor who heads to Berlin for a medical conference and ends up in a car crash. When he recovers from a coma, his wife no longer recognises him and is living with another man, who has stolen Neeson’s identity.

Joel Silver is producing the project with Leonard Goldberg.

Shooting is expected to begin in January.

Neeson, who last starred in the Pierre Morel-directed “Taken,” will take on the role after completing 20th Century Fox’s “The A-Team,” directed by Joe Carnahan based on the TV series. He can next be seen in “The Other Man” with Antonio Banderas, “Chloe,” “Clash of the Titans” as God Zeus and “After.Life” as Eliot Deacon.

Liam Neeson And Antonio Banderas – “The Other Man” Trailer

The Other ManThe Other Man” based on Bernhard Schlink’s short story about adultery stars Liam Neeson, Antonio Banderas, Laura Linney and Romola Garai. The trailer for the drama has hit the web. Check it out below.

The movie which had its premiere at last year’s Toronto Film Festival is both written and directed by Richard Eyre (”Notes on a Scandal,” “Iris,” “Stage Beauty”). The script was adapted by Eyre and Charles Wood.

“The Other Man” tells the story of Peter (Liam Neeson) who discovers that his wife Lisa (Laura Linney) has been receiving emails and mobile messages from Ralph (Antonio Banderas), a man he never knew existed.

Peter’s obsession with this unknown rival escalates and, against the advice of his daughter Abigail (Romola Garai), a hurt and vengeful Peter flies to Milan to seek out the mysterious Ralph and the truth about his relationship with Lisa.

“The Other Man” hits theaters in limited release on September 25th, 2009.

“Taken 2″ In Development

A couple of months ago, from the LA Times came word that the Liam Neeson thriller “Taken” has a sequel in the works and now according to Variety, EuropaCorp founder Luc Besson announced that the company has initiated development on “Taken 2.”

For the sequel, Besson and veteran writer Robert Mark Kamen (Transporter 1,2,3, Bandidas) will again collaborate on the script. There is no word whether Neeson will return for the second installment.

“Taken” was directed by Pierre Morel. It starred Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen and Holly Valance.

Neeson plays a father who traveling through Europe embarks on a frantic quest to rescue his daughter (Maggie Grace) after the young girl is abducted by slave traders in District B13 director Pierre Morel’s contemporary thriller Taken.

“Taken” earned $145 Million in domestic box office and another $77 million internationally.
