New “Wolverine” Promo Picture

Empire magazine has released a new promo shot of Hugh Jackman in 20th Century Fox’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine“
Directed by Gavin Hood from a David Benioff, the action-thriller co-stars Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, William, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins.
Leading up to the events of “X-Men,” the new spin-off movie tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.
“X-Men Origins: Wolverine” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1st, 2009.
First “Defiance” Poster
Check out movie poster from the upcoming film “Defiance” by director Edward Zwick and starring Daniel Craig (Tuvia Bielski), Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell and George MacKay.
The film revolves around Jewish brothers (Craig, Schreiber and Bell) living in Nazi-occupied Poland who escape into the Belarussian forest where they join Russian resistance fighters in battling the Nazis. Throughout the war, they build a village inside the forest and save the lives of more than 1,200 Jews. Zwick’s screenplay is based on Nechama Tec’s book “Defiance: The Bielski Partisans.”
“Defiance” is scheduled to hit theaters on December 12th, 2008.
First Look Of Liev Schreiber As Creed
Some new Sydney set photos have appeared online for X-Men Origins: Wolverine which gives us an chance to check out Liev Schreiber in his Victor Creed persona-military days alongside Hugh Jackman’s character. The film will hit theaters May 1, 2009.

Schreiber, Hall Join ‘Wolverine’
CHUD reports that Liev Schreiber (”The Sum of all Fears,” “The Manchurian Candidate”) will play Victor Creed - aka. Sabretooth - in the Gavin Hood-directed “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”.
Schreiber involvement was previously thought to be that of a young Stryker, the villain played by Brian Cox in “X2: X-Men United” who was responsible for Wolverine’s creation.
Instead “Six Feet Under” and “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall is in talks for the role of Stryker, whilst Michelle Monaghan is being sought for Silver Fox.
“Wolverine” tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program.
