Liv Tyler Cast in Ti West’s THE SIDE EFFECT
Ti West’s the most recent film was a horror film The Innkeepers, a take on the classic, haunted hotel story. His next feature hinges on a large, blank location too, but he’s going to crank it up even more.
The sci-fi tinged thriller The Side Effect is a story about ‘a woman who spends several months alone in space as an experimental subject for a global pharmaceutical company, and finds herself inexplicably pregnant.’

Joss Whedon on The Avengers
Ok, we can relax now! Black Widow or, if you prefer lovely Scarlett Johansson, will be the only female Avenger, but it’s not like she’s going to be the only female character in the upcoming Joss Whedon‘s The Avengers!
And this update comes straight from director, so take it as an official thing. Check out the rest of details that Whedon shared with all of us:
“It is true that the movie is only going to have one female avenger,” he explained. “But she will not be the only female character.”
Let’s guess, Pepper Potts from the Iron Man franchise, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, or… Betty Ross, the love interest of Bruce Banner played by Liv Tyler in The Incredible Hulk?
Or perhaps, Natalie Portman’s character from Thor, or maybe even Jane Foster?
Smother Trailer, Poster and Pics
Today we present out info for “Smother“, director Vince Di Meglio’s comedy/drama starring DIane Keaton, Dax Shepard and Liv Tyler.
The movie “Smother” asks the question, What would you do if your mother moved in with you and just wouldn’t leave?
Marilyn Cooper (Diane Keaton) is one of those mothers- the kind who’ll call at 6:30 in the morning, or tell embarrassing stories about her son Noah (Dax Shepard) to complete strangers. When she suspects her husband is having an affair, she decides it’s time to “take a break”, and shows up on Noah’s doorstep with bags and five foster dogs in tow. Already having lost his job, hosting an unwelcome houseguest (Mike White) on his couch, and facing pressure from his wife Clare (Liv Tyler) to start a family despite his fears of inadequacy, Noah now finds the mother he’s always kept at a distance just a room away. He soon starts to realize that if he wants to stand up to the problems in his life, he’ll have to stand up to his mother. As heartwarming as it is hilarious, “Smother” is a family film in the truest sense of the term.
