‘City of Ember’ First Trailer and Photos

The first teaser trailer for “City of Ember” has just hit, and it looks very promising.

In the movie, for generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember’s once powerful generator is failing … and the great lamps that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. Now, two teenagers in a race against time, must search Ember for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city’s existence, and help the citizens escape before the lights go out forever.

The film stars Saoirse Ronan, Harry Treadaway, Bill Murray, Tim Robbins, Martin Landau, Mackenzie Crook and Toby Jones. It opens 10th October.

Gemma Arterton Prefers Daniel Craig Clinch to Mackenzie Crook

Gemma Arterton has confessed that she fancies Daniel Craig more than fellow co-star Mackenzie Crook.The actress locked lips with Craig while filming new Bond movie Quantum of Solace and kissed Crook in comedy Three and Out.

Asked which leading man she would prefer to see again on the basis of their clinches, she said: “They can’t be compared. They’re very different scenes. One is tender and loving and the other is passionate.

“Asking me to choose which one I’d date is so unfair, that’s horrible. I’d rather go out with someone completely unknown and obscure.”

She added: “But Daniel’s probably more my type because Mackenzie’s quite nervous. He was lovely though and the scene was very romantic.”

Arterton will be Bond’s only love interest in the new film as he is still devastated by the death of Casino Royale lover Vesper Lynd.
