Brand New ‘You Don’t Mess With The Zohan’ Poster
New poster for the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” has been released, featuring a close-up look at Sandler’s “area,” with the tagline stating: “He’ll blow you away.” Nothing wrong with some short-shorts and a Mariah Carey t-shirt.
The story centers on an Israeli commando (Sandler) who fakes his death so he can move to New York to become a hairstylist. Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Sandler penned the screenplay.
“Zohan” is directed by a long-time Sandler collaborator, Dennis Dugan, who has helmed other Sandler starrers like “Happy Gilmore” and “Big Daddy.” The new film has been shooting during the summer in Los Angeles and New York and is now scheduled to hit theaters on June 6th.
Mariah Carey Feared Looking Ugly In New Film
Mariah Carey contemplated quitting her new movie because it requires her to look ugly, say reports.
The singer has to wear a prosthetic nose and fake bushy eyebrows in her role of Krystal the waitress in Aaron Woodley’s new movie Tennessee.
Carey was reportedly upset with the makeover, but was persuaded to stick with the part because she wants to earn acting credibility following the critical panning of her biopic Glitter.
A source told the New York Daily News: “Mariah is the nicest person to work with – everyone loves her. But she was uncomfortable at being made ugly for the part.
“When she saw the nose, she called her people and decided against it [starring in the film]. She wasn’t a diva about it, but she did seem very insecure about her appearance.”
