Marion Cotillard and Joaquin Phoenix were spotted on the set yesterday, Friday, January 27th, proof The Untitled James Gray Project began filming in the New York City area. The film, also referred in some circles as Low Life, is about:
…an innocent immigrant woman from Poland, Sonya Cybulski (Cotillard) is tricked into a life of burlesque and vaudeville until a dazzling magician tries to save her and reunite her with her sister who is being held in the confines of Ellis Island. American dream turns into a nightmare. While sailing to Ellis Island and a new start, her sister grows deathly ill and she is forced to trade sexual favors for medicine and food to keep her sister alive. Once they land, she is warned to keep quiet about what happened … With no place to go, she falls prey to a charming sleazebag (Phoenix), who persuades her to turn tricks in New York.

Marion Cotillard in Talks for David Dobkin’s ARTHUR & LANCELOT
Did you know Fata Morgana, an unusual and very complex form of mirage, which is seen in a narrow band right above the horizon, was given the name of Morgan le Fay that is said to be King Arthur’s half-sister? I must admit, I didn’t know.
Well, I’m telling you this because Marion Cotillard has been reportedly offered a role in Arthur & Lancelot, the new drama from director David Dobkin. Should Oscar-winning French actress accept the part, Cotillard would play the same Morgana (Morgan le Fay), Arthur’s half-sister, a powerful sorcerer and typically portrayed as an antagonist in the Arthurian legend.

Today we have new photos and teaser posters for the upcoming drama film Cosmopolis, starring Robert Pattinson and directed by David Cronenberg (The Fly, Crash , Eastern Promises).
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Don DeLillo and follows Eric Packer (Robert Pattinson), a 28-year-old multi-billionaire finance guru who drives around Manhattan in a high-tech, pimped out limo in order to get a haircut, with many interruptions along the way.
