Oscar Nominated Drafthouse Films’ BULLHEAD To Get Limited Release February 17th
Drafthouse Films announces that Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award-nominee Bullhead will open Friday, February 17 in New York, Los Angeles and Austin in the following theaters and will expand to new markets following its initial limited release.
Bullhead, the feature film debut of writer/director Michael R. Roskam, was acquired by Drafthouse Films following its US premiere at Fantastic Fest, where it won “Best Picture” in the AMD/Dell Next Wave Competition, which highlights first-time feature filmmakers.
Social Network’s Josh Pence Lands Role in The Dark Knight Rises
Josh Pence, who played opposite Armie Hammer as Tyler Winklevoss in The Social Network, has been confirmed as Ra’s Al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan‘s new Batman pic.
It was all very hush-hush and behind close doors kind of stuff, although Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman are returning to lead a caped crusading cast for a darknight Bruce Wayne’s squad, which includes Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cottilard.
Fergie to sing in Rob Marshall’s “Nine”
Fergie – Black Eyed Peas singer will appear in Rob Marshall‘s musical “Nine.”
Stacy Ferguson AKA Fergie joins a cast that includes Oscar-winning actors as Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cottilard, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, Judi Dench, Oscar-nominated Penelope Cruz in 2007 for Best Actress in a Leading Role in “Volver” and Kate Hudson.
Fergie’s previous big screen credits include “Poseidon” (2006) and “Planet Terror” (2007).
She will play Saraghina, a sexy nymph that brings Daniel Day-Lewis’ character into the world of sexuality.
