These two come from Germany and show us a little more what we might expect from the third installment. Will it answer all the questions left open by the previous episode? Weather or not to trust, the “Big Momma’s House” sequels strictly follow the classic Hollywood trilogy structure. “Big Momma’s House” was an origin story, enlightening how Martin Lawrence first came to dress up like a chubby old lady. Big Momma's HouseAre you guys ready for the third installment of the Big Momma’s House franchise?

If you are we’re more than happy to inform you that Faizon Love, Emily Rios, Portia Doubleday and Michelle Ang have signed to co-star in 20th Century Fox’s Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.

They join Martin Lawrence, Brandon T. Jackson and Jessica Lucas, and that’s quite interesting cast.

Check out the official synopsis: FBI Agent Malcolm Turner and his 17-year-old nephew Trent go undercover at an all-girls’ school for the arts, after Trent witnesses a murder. They pose, respectively, as Big Momma and Charmaine, in order to find evidence incriminating the murderer before he finds them.

So, we already know Lawrence will repeat his Big Momma role, T. Jackson will play Charmaine, while Rios, Doubleday (recently co – starred in Youth in Revolt) and Ang (that will appear in the Jodie Foster directed drama The Beaver) will play students at the school who befriend Jackson’s character.

Martin Lawrence Says Bad Boys 3 is “Real”

During the press junket for Death at a Funeral, Martin Lawrence has revealed that he’s had a meeting with Will Smith and director Michael Bay about a potential third movie in the Bad Boys franchise.

“It’s real realistic,” the comedian revealed to MTV News, addressing rumors that he’ll re-team with Bay and the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air once again. “We’ve talked about Bad Boys 3.”

Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third installment of a hot movie like Bad Boys, you have to take notice,

The movie is re-imagining of Death at a Funeral, the 2007 MGM comedy directed by Frank Oz. The plan is to make an ensemble comedy about a funeral ceremony that leads to the digging up of shocking family secrets, as well as misplaced cadavers and indecent exposure. While the original was set in Britain, the new film will take place in an urban American setting.

Bad Boys 3 in the Works

Columbia Pictures is currently working on “Bad Boys 3.” Peter Craig is already working on a screenplay and third installment in the “Bad Boys” franchise will be Craig’s first major Hollywood screenplay.

According to THR, the studio is hoping that director Michael Bay, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will all return for the third film.

None of the four has signed a deal, but all parties have uttered their willingness to return if the people behind the project can come up with a story. However, with the popularity of Smith, Lawrence, Bay and Bruckheimer, it could be costly to get everyone on board.
