I Am Number Four star Alex Pettyfer and Leap Year star Matthew Goode are set to star in the upcoming action thriller Overdrive.

The whole thing will be directed by Colombian helmer Antonio Negret, while Taken director Pierre Morel will be in charge for the production of this project. It definitely sounds interesting enough for us, so make sure to check the rest of this report for more details.

According to The Wrap, Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler, The Expendables) and Til Schweiger (Inglourious Basterds) have joined the cast of the new action thriller The Courier starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

In The Courier, Morgan plays a never-miss courier hired to deliver a briefcase to a notorious crime boss who can’t be found. The courier finds himself pursued by corrupt cops, double-crossing feds and rivals from the criminal underworld as he attempts to maintain his perfect record.

Jeffrey Dean MorganCasting news! Watchmen star Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be the part of the upcoming project titled The Courier, a new movie from director Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now).

The script comes from writers Michael Brandt and Derek Haas (responsible for titles like 3:10 To Yuma and Wanted).

The Courier will follow Morgan as “The One Man Who Can Find The Guy” who is the man entrusted with sensitive and often illegal missions, with his latest job being to deliver a briefcase to an infamous underworld boss who is impossible to track down, while he deals with corrupt cops, double-crossing federal agents and rival crime kingpins who would much rather they got their grubby paws on the case.”

Filming is scheduled to begin next month in New Orleans.

Richard GereAnother Hollywood spy thriller is coming! And what an interesting cast news guys. Check this out: Richard Gere and Topher Grace will be starring in the espionage film titled The Double for director Michael Brandt.

This new film will mark the directorial debut of Brandt, who wrote Wanted and the remake of 3:10 To Yuma with scribbling partner Derek Haas. Let’s see what he’ll do with this kind of story…

What we know about the whole thing, is this: “Story kicks off with the mysterious murder of a senator bearing the distinguished marks of a Soviet assassin, code-named Cassius, who was long thought to be dead. To hunt down the killer, a retired CIA operative (Gere), who spent his career going toe-to-toe with his Soviet nemeses, is teamed with a young FBI agent (Grace).”

Wilson will be possibly assigned to hunt down the war vets convicted of a crime they didn’t commit and are now on the run as fugitives while helping the oppressed seek justice. He is joining Liam Neeson (John “Hannibal” Smith), Bradley Cooper (Templeton “Face” Peck), Sharlto Copley (H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (B.A. Baracus) and Jessica Biel (Faceman’s ex-flame).
