Kevin Bacon’s New X-Men: First Class Role
Kevin Bacon is now officially the “villain” member of the X-Men: First Class cast, only this time there we have a new rumor!
Previously mentioned role of Mister Sinister is no longer in the game and looks that Bacon will play Sebastian Shaw in the upcoming Matthew Vaughn’s movie.
“Sebastian Shaw possesses the ability possesses the ability to absorb kinetic energy and transform it into raw strength. He is the leader of the New York branch of the Hellfire Club, an exclusive secret society bent on world domination, although to the public, he is a legitimate businessman and ordinary human.
Shaw absorbs the energy of any blow he is struck by, not just punches, but bullets, and to a less successful degree, concussive energy beams, notably Cyclops’ optic blasts.
He is capable of absorbing the cutting, piercing and thrusting energy from a blade which makes it exceedingly difficult to cut or stab him with sharp edged weapons.
Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique in X-Men: First Class
Winter’s Bone star Jennifer Lawrence has been cast as Mystique in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men: First Class.
This means that 19-year-old Lawrence will step into the role that Rebecca Romijn played in the first three X-Men movies.
In addition to that, it looks that all previously rumored cast: Alice Eve, Caleb Landry Jones and Aaron Johnson are still in the game!
X-Men: First Class following the classic Marvel mythology, charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time.

Lucas Till as Havok in X-men: First Class?
Like we said, something crazy is happening with X-men: First Class casting rumors.
First we learned that Nicholas Hoult will play Beast, then we had a chance to hear Caleb Landry Jones will play Banshee, that Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson will play Cyclops, while Lucas Till will end up playing the mutant Havok.
Then, like this is not enough of confusion, we heard that characters Multiple Man and Willow will also be in the movie. But today, we have some new information about the upcoming Matthew Vaughn‘s project…
So, it looks like in this moment only these characters are for sure: James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, and Nicholas Hoult as Beast.
We still have no idea whether above mentioned characters and actors will be the part of this project, since we have several reports saying “this could be part of a misdirection campaign to keep some surprises from X-Men fans”.
However, it’s widely believed that Cyclops will be in the movie as will the other original X-Men: Jean Grey, Iceman and Angel.
Ralph Fiennes Joins Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
We already told you that this is going to be something awesome! Too bad if you didn’t trust us, because today we are here again to talk about Tomas Alfredson‘s upcoming adaptation of John Le Carré‘s best-selling spy thriller Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and we have a huge casting update for you guys!
Ralph Fiennes will join this project, which already includes great names: Colin Firth, Gary Oldman and Michael Fassbender!
Set in the aftermath of the cold war, the thriller tells the tale of a spy-hunt within the highest echelons of the British Secret Intelligence Service:
“The enduring novel by one of the greatest storytellers follows George Smiley, who is a troubled man of infinite compassion, and also a single-mindedly ruthless adversary as a spy.
The scene which he enters is a Cold War landscape of moles and lamplighters, scalp-hunters and pavement artists, where men are turned, burned or bought for stock. Smiley’s mission is to catch a Moscow Centre mole burrowed thirty years deep into the Circus itself.”
Aaron Johnson to Play Cyclops in X-Men: First Class?
Are you ready for more X-Men: First Class casting updates, guys? But let’s get one thing clear right here at the beginning of this report – things around upcoming Matthew Vaughn‘s movie are getting a little bit crazy, indeed!
Yesterday we all had a chance to hear that Kick- Ass star, Aaron Johnson will join already impressive ensemble movie cast as the young Cyclops. Anything strange about that? Guess not, they already worked together on above mentioned Kick-Ass. But today, we still have no idea whether this info is just a rumor or more than that…
If the casting news is true, he’ll be joining Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and a lot of other names that have been reported, but as you guess – without official confirmation, which is also kind of strange, since filming should start next month in London.
When it comes to Johnson’s role, there are several reports claiming “this is one hundred percent locked at this point.”
On the other hand, there are reports saying Johnson “may have been photographed leaving a building with Vaughn and McAvoy, but he will not be playing any type of superhero, or any other part for that matter, in the new film.” Should we keep both options open?
Erica Hosseini Wants Role of Willow in X-Men: First Class
This lady has not been officially cast for the part in X-Men: First Class, but at least she explained us that the character that she auditioned for is similar to Mystique in terms of ability.
If you still have no idea what we’re talking about, then let us explain right now.
Surfer Erica Hosseini auditioned for a part in Mathew Vaughn‘s upcoming X prequel. And, looks like she revealed a little too much… Or, maybe not?
“I was auditioning for a role named Willow (hopefully I don’t get in trouble for blabbing details on the off-chance that I get it),” she stated.
“It’s a role similar to Mystique from what I understand. Potentially lots of body paint, so that would be really fun. I just went in for a reading for the new X-Men Movie: First Class… I was extremely nervous and reading my lines the best I could. But I have absolutely no acting experience. I really hope that I get a call back, but I’m not holding my breath.”
If you’re a comic book fan then you’re probably familiar with this character, but if not, then let us give you some facts.
